I don't really know much about makeup and I don't like to wear a lot of it, but is it okay to wear ONLY concealer? I want to cover blemishes without applying foundation/powder over my entire face because my skin tone is pretty even.
And also, if wanted to use green concealer to hide redness, should I cover the green with a regular concealer? Or do I need to apply something like foundation over my entire face in order to hide the green?Wearing only concealer?
Yes, it is okay wearing only concealer. Just use your middle or ring finger to blend it in very well. Dab on the concealer, do not rub because if you rub it, it will give no coverage. BLEND BLEND BLEND so there aren't any obvious lines.
Yes, if you use green concealer, cover it with regular concealer because usually there's a green tint left on the spot.Wearing only concealer?
I personally think it's OK to only wear only concealer. That's the one of the only things that i wear. If you wanted to use green, if I were you i would put regular over, but that is just your own preference weather or not to use it over. Message me for more ideas and stuff. =]
Sara~Star
Well, If the concealer really really blends in well with your skin then yes - Im sure it's ok(:
Personally, i like using foundation AND concealer, because it just makes my face look so much smoother and natural.
wear some loose powder over the concealer just to make it last. you dont need anything extra for the green concealer, just use a little to hide the red and powder on top
All you need is skin toned color concealer to correct redness.

Dose green concealer really work?
yea; you use it to tone down the redness on your face because green is opposite from red on the color wheel. :]Dose green concealer really work?
yes it works wonders! I use it on my cheeks for rosera. it helps a lot. the only thing is is that if you use it in a stick conceler form it tends to give your skin a slighly green tone. I recommend using it in a pressed powder form. that way the base isn't so heavy like pure stick conceler.Dose green concealer really work?
If you mean under your eyes, then no. Try yellow, because that will counterbalance the blue/purple. If you mean to get rid of redness, then yes. Just put it wherever you think you have an excess amount of red coloring, and presto! It's gone!
Yes, but it only gets rid of the redness of the pimple. You'll want to use regular concealer to really hide the zit. Together, it'll be virtually invisible ;]
eeek, i havent tried it myself but it may depend on your actual skin tone whether or not it will work properly.
A lot of people say it does but i have tried several and it has never worked for me.

Is this concealer or blush?Or what is it?
I got some makeup form walmart today, and i thought it was concealer.I don't know anything about makeup,i just wanted to try some out.It doesn't say what it is, it just says Max Factor pressed powder. What is this used for?
Is this concealer or blush?Or what is it?
does it look like this?
http://bp0.blogger.com/_14crFskxFV4/SDxW鈥?/a>
if yes, its concealer.
or does it look like the one on the right?
http://news.softpedia.com/images/news2/M鈥?/a>
the one of the right is blushIs this concealer or blush?Or what is it?
Pressed powders that are a skin color hue are concealers. Max Factor created a line of pressed powders that are similar to the bare essentials products. They are used to even out skin tone and lessen any oily spots usually in the t-zone. (the forehead, down the nose, and to the chin.)
Blush is any pressed powder that is rosy or bronze in color and usually come in a smaller packaging than the concealers.
Pressed powder are generally used to soak up excessive oil on your face. If it has color in it, then it doubles as a blush.
If you have a picture it'd be easier to determine - as for concealer, most powders are not very good concealers unless you're looking to cover up a very minor flaw - on the exception that it's very pigmented.
It is neither blush or concealer. Pressed powder is used to set your liquid foundation or just by itself to reduce that shine our faces get from. This product is used all over the face and can be applied several times through out the day hence the saying I must go powder my nose. Concealer is generally in a tube or a ';pot'; and a lipstick like consistancy.
Pressed powder normally goes on over foundation. It kind of ';sets'; the foundation and keeps it in place.Handy for touch ups during the day/night. Blush is for your cheeks. It accentuates your cheekbones, normally red/pink in color. Hope this helps!!!
It is probably neither blush nor concealer because blush is ususally a dark colour and concealer is usually in a stick form ( kind of like a lipstick looking tube). sso it is probably a finishing foundation.
its powder somewhat like concealer but is used to go over concealer. concealer is liquid. you can use the powder on your face to somewhat conceal acne; blemishes; etc.
It is probably more of a foundation.
So, you put the concealer on first if you need it then put on the pressed powder all over the face to even skin tone.
Pressed powder is usually foundation. It is sort of like concealer but for all over and doesn't cover up as much. It's for evening out skin tone.
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
conceler is normally a liquid type paste or cover up. if its powder its probally blush.
its what the label says---powder. its like foundation- you just put it on your face to even out the tone and its used as a base for other makeup like blush.
powder is used to finish your make up. blot it very lightly over your face to help your makeup stay put. It also gets rid of shine if you have oily skin
All over face coverage after you've applied foundation.
Depends on the color, but it sounds like foundation (concealer).
Its definitely a powder in pressed or compact form.
Some can be applied using damp sponge, some cant (dry).
pressed powder is a type of powdered concealer
foundation/concealer
pressed powder is a type of concealer
pressed powder is concealer, if it was blush it would say it
it's a tinted concealer. They make great make up! Have fun!
its goes all ovr ur face lol....it is sort of in between a concealor and blush

What is the least obvious and smoothest concealer (brand)?
estee lauder is good but you have to be careful of the color and use a brush... then wash the brush with baby shampoo after use... all of this will help you apply it smoothly. you can try lancome too like the other person suggetsed but just apply it carefully. What is the least obvious and smoothest concealer (brand)?

Best concealer to cover blemishes?
- I have the Rimmel one - and it is really crap!!
-so i need a new one [not a liquid one] which is very good for sensitive pale skin like mine. Also one that is good under the eyes.
-Anything under 拢15 i would pay for it : providing it worked well.
-where i can buy it and cost aswell...Best concealer to cover blemishes?
I know what you mean about the rimmel one, I've read loads that make up artists love it but it just goes on like a chalk crayon!
MAC studio finish is the best i've ever tried, its 拢10.77 so in your price range, it comes in a compact pot like an eyeshadow. It covers everything and they have so many colours to choose from, you can use it to cover dark under eye circles to which it does really well. If you get it in one of the stores then they'll match the shade for you, or you can buy online but it's hard to tell what colour you need.
I've tried the l'oreal infallible one and used it on other people when i was a make up demonstrator but i don't think it works that well for blemishes or under eye circles, it's better for covering uneven skin tone.Best concealer to cover blemishes?
I use the L'Oreal infallible concealer it lasts all day and you don't have to use much so it does not look caked on. I have very pale skin and it suits me fine. You can buy this for less than 拢3 from http://www.beautyparlor.co.uk with worldwide delivery.
umm
well my concealer is in my foundation, which is benefit
拢25, which is good for foundation and concealer.
:)
MAC Studio Sculpt is the best hands down. Its $16.50 :)
invest in sheer cover. trust me you will never use anything else again. it is a bit pricy thoughhair treatment

Is concealer foundation?
I just want to know, is concealer known as foundation? Is concealer foundation?
Foundation and concealer is different. Use foundation all over face to get a balanced and even complexion. Go over spots that need some more coverage like a scar, acne spot etc. Then use a dusting of setting powder all over face to set the makeup. Is concealer foundation?
no, concealer is more of a cover-up x
If concealer was foundation, wouldn't it be called the same name, and why would be bother calling it concealer? Duh! Concealer is not foundation, it's use to cover up any blemishes, or dark circles, ect.
No. concealer is used to cover up pimples, acne, zits, wrinkles, etc..
You apply foundation over concealer.
No. Concealer is concealer. They're two different things.
nope, they are 2 diffrenent things:) concealer is thicker, heavier coverage. so you can cover up pimples, and undereye circles. foundation you put all over your face to even out skin tone:)
hope that helps!

Good drugstore concealer?
I want to know what is a good concealer that i could find at a place like walmart. I need something to cover up the redness around my eyes. Some thing thats cheap and in the twenty dollar price range.Good drugstore concealer?
maybeline mineral power concealer
i use it and love it
makes your skin look flawless
covers pimples and redness
and smoothes out the pimple bumps.
does not flake or look cakey
makes you complexion brighter and more vibrant.
looks completley natural
and its cheap :)Good drugstore concealer?
Maybelline liquid mineral power concealer
Revlon colorstay concealer
They are the best drugstore concealers out there. If you want something for $20 less then you can also try the MAC concealers which are only $14 and the sales assistant will help you choose your color rather than you having to struggle with what matches.
I use Revlon...around 6-7 bucks. It works fine for me. If you are willing to spend 20 bucks on it you can try Dermablend. You can get that from Macy's.
But let me tell you a secret to getting rid of redness and will also save you some money. Use eye drops, like Visen or Clear Eyes. It works the same on the skin as it does on the eyes. It constricts blood vessels and stops redness. So put some eye drops on the red areas of your skin, wait about 15 mins and the redness will be gone!
I like neutrogena. They have a concealer that has eye cream in it that will help prevent/reduce the look of fine lines, and they also have another one that helps heal pimples. I have read that green concealers are good for covering up redness. I don't know specific brands, but I have seen green concealer at walmart.
I say this all the time.. but it really is my miracle product. Bio Oil is awesome if you have uneven toned skin. Only thing thats a pain is you have to be very persistant with it. (2 times a day for about 2 weeks until u get results) but yeah its pretttty great. I had blotchy, dehydrated skin but it made it so much nicer, plus it lasts forever. Just an alternative to covering the problem lol
the best thing to cover redness is a green concealer, mine is great it is maybelline i don't know how much it would be because i got on sale
Sonia Kashuik concealer palette!
you can get a MAC concealer for 15 bucks or so

For special occasions I use MAC studio finish concealer, It covers facial hair stubble left behind from shaving plus it is sweatproof (ive tested it) The only thing is that it takes forever to take it off, If I had to wear it every day I would probably buy the MAC makeup wipes because it comes off with that, but since I only wear it for special occasions I dont mind it too much..
I love MaryKay Yellow Concealer, followed by whichever color concealer matches your skin tone, for me, White Ivory. The yellow really covers dark spots and blemishes, and then followed with the concealer in your own skin tone, it blends wonderfully.
Can I suggest the following 2 options?
For Dark Eye Circles, choose L'Oreal Paris Touche Magique as it is an illuminating concealer and will not only help to conceal dark eye circles, it also aids in brightening eyes so that they look less tired.
For Dark Spots/ Blemishes/ Redness, try L'Oreal Paris True Match Concealer. This product is good at concealing small problems on your face as it has 6 shades to match every skin undertone.
Could I also suggest that you follow up with either a TWC or a Compact Powder so that the coverage is better?
Hope this helps!
I've always been a fan of Almay products. They have a newer product out that covers your entire face called Smart Shade Make-up. Don't be surprised when you go to apply it (if you notice it's white with little blue beads in it), trust me though. After you apply it to your face, go back and look in the mirror five minutes later to see the amazing difference.
ThanksBest Concealer...Expensize or Cheap! And good Brands?
here are my top picks in different price ranges after trying about a dozen....
mark invisbile touch perfecting concealer $5 (comes in 5 shades)
merle norman cover up $12 (comes in 12 shades)
benefit boi-ing concealer $18 (comes in 3 shades)
i tried and did not like mac cream, covergirl stick, or clinique cream concealers.Best Concealer...Expensize or Cheap! And good Brands?

What are some good foundations and concealers to cover up acne and freckles?
bare minerals. What are some good foundations and concealers to cover up acne and freckles?
you should probably use a foundation primer, with a acne fighting moisturizer underneath. the combo will a) help fill in the bumpiness and create a smoother surface and b) prevent all the makeup form getting into your blemishes/pores.
for foundations, urban decay has some of the best since it wont break you out, and if you go with mac, only use studio fix liquid because its their only oil free oneWhat are some good foundations and concealers to cover up acne and freckles?
I absolutely love Bare Escentual's Foundation with SPF 15. I use it to cover my dark circles and acne. I also have tried it on a few freckles on my face, and it works wonders. Plus, it's so light you don't even feel it! You can get it at sephora.
u should definitely google Dinair Airbrush...its so good...it covers everything and makes my skin look flawless. It can even cover tattoos so im sure it will cover freckles. Its all water based so its not bad for ur skin. its the best makeup ive ever used! anywho, i hope i helped...=)

are there any out there that remind you of mac's studio sculpt? or do you think i should just go for mac's concealer before trying a drugstore one? What are really good drugstore concealers?
I'd just buy the MAC concealer. Why waste the money trying a thousand different drug store brands that may or may not work when you could just invest in a product you know is going to be good?

Undereye Concealer?
I'm African american with a caramel skin tone. I have serious dark circles and I want someone's recommendations for an undereye concealer. I just tried this foundation that I like: maybelline dream matte mousee in caramel #2 color. Any suggestions for an undereye concealer would be great. Thanks!Undereye Concealer?
For serious dark circles, a concealer won't work either. You need to use a colour corrector to neutralize the colour first: orange for bluish tones, yellow for purply, and green for redness. Then you use your concealer over it. The concealer under your eyes should be about half a shade lighter than the rest of your base, and well blended out. The light colour opens up your eyes more, and makes you look healthier and more awake.Undereye Concealer?
There is a product called Colorescience. You can find it on eBay. They have wonderful concealers. The 2 names that I can remember are Line Tamer and Wild to Mild. The stuff is amazing.
(I know that have it on eBay as I have bought it there a few times)
you might want to try a highlighter oppose to a concelear. Lightening the dark area verses coving up.

lancome has a really nice one..
Mary Kay has wonderful under eye concealer. It costs a little bit more but it lasts FOREVER! (Just a dab will do ya!) You can find a local consultant at MaryKay.com
sorry

What are some good liquid founations & concealers for sensitive skin?
i have VERY sensitive skin, i tried using smashbox liquid foundation and it made my skin burn a little and turned it red %26amp; made it dry. thanks for the help. %26amp; make it affordableWhat are some good liquid founations %26amp; concealers for sensitive skin?
you should try clinique brand is the best for sensitive skin I have sensitive as well clinique is the only brand that makes my skin nice flawless doesn't sting or makes my skin red so it good it doesn't have fragrance .
clinique.comWhat are some good liquid founations %26amp; concealers for sensitive skin?
I find Clinique foundations (either superbalanced or even better) are great liquid founations for sensitive skin. If you want a cheaper alternative then you could try Maybelline. Their dream matte mousse is nice or their newer Natural Perfecting Liquid Foundation which has 100% micro-mineral pigments so it's more natural than other products and doesn't dry out the skin.
These products work for me so I hope this helps.

Using concealer with pimples?
How can I use concealer and foundation to make pimples dissapear temporarily??Using concealer with pimples?
Here's a better remedy. I have an acne treatment that has won me the best answer better then fifteen times. Often, the person who voted it the best answer was amazed at how well it worked, even those who had severe cases of acne. I'll copy and paste it below.
Use a hot compress on it, and then use cool water to close the pores. Do the process over and over again, about five or six times. Use soap to wash the area, and then treat it with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It should be gone within five to six hours.
Here are some of the previous comments I got from those who voted it as the best answer,
omg thank you! u r sooo awsome now my school pic will look GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
Thank u so muc 4 ur help!!!
It helped alot of my acne. thanks!
Hey! THAT REALLY WORKS MAN THANX A LOT!!!
Wow This Like Really worked!!!! Thanks! Now i don't have a big huge zit!!! Thank you much!
thanks so much..it was gone..it was right onmy chin but thanks soooooooooo much i owe u big time...
THANKS A LOT MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I tried this a couple hours ago and it is already starting to clear up. THANKS!
Thanks for the info! It worked!
OMG! it worked. I will say i was skeptical, but I'm back to being my gorgeous self ;)
thanks!
Thanks it worked awesomely goodUsing concealer with pimples?
no no...heres what you do. Apply your foundation as usually but dont rub it in. Pat it in and then press your hands (clean hands) firmly against your skin to blend in excess foundation. Dab concealer on and then again just pat it. Don't rub in either because it won't cover it up and it also smears the product into your pores which over time will make more pimples appear. Good Luck!
Use a good concealer, one shade lighter than your skin tone and ideally with a slightly yellow or green colour (this tones down any redness) Use a cotton bud and dab it on to the pimple and slightly around it then use powder to seal
Green concealor is good to hide the redness of spots. Make sure you wash your face twice a day and eat the right foods to help prevent pimples.

Best concealer/foundation for oily skin?
So I have very oily skin. and moderate acne. its not getting any better, so im turning to make up to somewhat cover it. What foundation or concealer or whatever do you recommend? and how would you use it? im so new to this. ive never turned to make up cause i thought it would clog my pores some more, but im willing to give it a shot.
thanks so much!Best concealer/foundation for oily skin?
i use Clinque's superbalanced foundation! They come in numbers from 1-4. I have 09 Nude beige, its for numbers 2%26amp;3 (dry/combination) the highest is obviously number 4, for oily.
this doesnt look cakey and goes on smoothly. i have never had break outs with this and it covers up really well. it also comes individual refills, and you can buy the container with the mirror in it. its around 30$ but its worth it. just go to a cliniqur kiosk and they'll find your skin tone and help you loadsBest concealer/foundation for oily skin?
Use bare minerals matte foundation. It will not only clear up any existing pimples, but will keep your face looking fresh and beautiful until you wash it off. It is at sephora.com under the brand name bare escentuals.hair treatment

Best concealer out there? and why would you recommend it?
Ok, it may sound funny but I just had chiken pox 3 weeks ago!
It was miserable but now, it's over! However, I have marks left on my face. People are telling me it will go away.and it's NOT that bad.Ok, but I need something to cover them. I deal with people on my work everyday. Some people would stare at me but don't ask questions but there are some who would - ';What the heck happen to your face?!!'; Sometimes, it's embarrassing. Help! :)Best concealer out there? and why would you recommend it?
The best concealer for heavy cover-up, is Clinique's Advanced concealer. I covers anything and blends in nicely. It also doesn't feel heavy, or greasy. The bad thing is that they only have two colors, but you can see if you match them.Best concealer out there? and why would you recommend it?

u should DEFINETLY try either mac concealers since they give complete coverage that u will abosolutely not believe or...try becca dual concealer; it comes with two formulas for lighter coverage and full coverage....its soooooo amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bare Mineral's bisque.
I love MAC Studio Fix. Its a powder, but it is full coverage. Just use your regular liquid/and or stick concealer then, with a big make-up brush, use the MAC powder, its amazing!
.
Clinique is great...it's light and it allows ur face to breathe giving you a more natural look at the same time covering up all marks and discoloration.

Is there a way to make concealer less blotchy? or is it just my own skin making it look like that? ?
I've never heard of blotchy concealer. You should try a different brand. Also, make sure you are applying it the right way.

But don't forget to clean your face properly, make sure no make up is left over on your face. These things cause acne..BAD ACNE!!
actually most leading brands concealer are fine. most imporantly is to make sure it suits yr skin colour. you may wanna get one that not only help conceal the blemishes but also help them clear up. : O )
ZA concealer perfection or Maybelline concealer. this are the two concealers i had used before. they are okay to me.
mac Concealer. i use it under my eyes and on spots then i put a little powder over my face to set the Concealer. it lasts all day

I like origins quick hide concealer, its ment for just your blemish spots. Bare essensials has good all natural concealer. If you want a really nice and clean finish so that your skin looks really even i would reccomend MAC studio fix
Benefit is junk, it has no pigment.
Laura Mercier is the top selling concealer on the market. I should know, I work for her. She has THE highest pigmented line on the market today.

Bare Minerals!!! This stuff is AMAZING. It's a powder (you wouldn't think it covers...but it does....AMAZING), and it WON'T clog pores like other concealers will. They have a web-site, www.bareminerals.com. It's about $50.00 for the whole package, but thats a 2 month supply and it's worth it. I used to break out all the time and it left my skin red as well. This stuff, covers, keeps a healthy glow, and like I said.....it is just amazing. It comes with a video on how to apply it as well....however if you live in or near a major city you may have a story nearby. You can check that on the web-site too. This stuff changed my life (sounds dramatic), but my confidence level went up so much. The pictures they have up there, of the before and afters....it REALLY does that! Good luck!
Loreal True Match

MAC STUDIO FINISH SPF35 concealer in a pot is the best. It lasts for months, and you only need to dab just a little to cover up the blemishes. I use them to cover up dark undereye circles and zit scars, etc. I only use my fingerpads to dab on the problem areas, and cover them with MAYBELLINE PURESTAY 2 way COMPACT to help it stay put. It's best to visit the MAC makeup counter to find the best match for you. I have medium tan skin, and my shade is NW25. I have tried other concealers (even the expensive ones) but this is really THE BEST!
From the MAC website - Studio Finish Concealer SPF 35
A lightweight, creamy, discreetly opaque concealer. Provides a smooth, long-wearing invisible coverage for all skin blemishes. Water-resistant, fragrance-free and non-acnegenic. This emollient-based, lightweight concealer is so concentrated that a tiny amount can provide opaque coverage of the skin's imperfections and discolourations. It effectively covers dark circles, blemishes, moles, tattoos and birthmarks. Enriched with antioxidants (derivatives of Vitamin A and Vitamin E), it also contains Silica to help adsorb the skin's oils. Concealer has an SPF of 35 and is available in a wide range of colours. It can be applied with a medium to firm fiber brush (try the 242 Brush), a latex sponge, or the fingertips.
Hope this helps!
i don't have a concealer rec, although try a mineral make-up so you don't irritate your skin too much... but if you dab some eye drops onto the red areas they improve a lot.

ok, i was wondering... im a relatively new makeup user, 15 yrs old, blond hair, very fair skin (think as light if not lighter than the lightest shade they sell at Walgreens/CVS), and blue-ish grey eyes. right now i wear brown-black mascara, a lightish brown kohl eyeliner, light powder, a tiny bit of pink blush, and some concealer when necessary. what brand sells the lightest concealer or foundation that isn't outrageously expensive (i have a very limited makeup budget) and isn't yellow-y? i have almost no yellow/orange in my skin tone. also, is it ok that i dont wear eyeshadow? i dotn really like to and i think that i look fine without it, but is this considered ';weird';? thanks for anyone's help.Where to buy very light/fair concealer/foundation?
Try Clean and Clear Advantage Concealer. It's about $7 and can be found at Walgreens. It works. How would I know??? I have blond hair and fair skin and that is what works for me. Try it sometime. It's not bad at all.
P.S. It is ok that you don't wear eyeshadow. I don't always wear it, so it's not always worth spending the extra money to but some.Where to buy very light/fair concealer/foundation?
estee lauder goes down really light, but its not exactly cheap. neutrogena is better, %26amp;%26amp; it goes down pretty light too, but not as light as estee lauder. if youre really ballin on a budget, I think covergirl %26amp;%26amp; maybelline have light pink-tint (not yellow) shades too.
ok, i basically had the same prob. 4 a while when i had just started wearing make-up(which was like 2 years ago) plus, i have very light skin exept red hair and green eyes anyway, the thing i do is i first put some liquid conseler on any blemishes if i have any and i got that from wal-mart(mainly because when your working with conseler it dosent have to be one of those expensive brands, but make sure its not one of those off brands)i got the lightest color and i think its maybaline or somthin, i cant really remeber, then i get clinuge brand 4 my blush and powder(that brand is really good epecially 4 light or sensitive skin) and i put the powder and somtimes blush on after the i put the consealer...i dont use masqarea just because i have red hair and it wouldnt look good but as far a eyeshadow goes since your a blond i would go for soft pinks and maybe even some coppers and suttle browns and greens ect...but i dont wear eyeshadow that much at all, its not weird if you dont...but just make sure you only put the eye shadow up to that eyelid bone(i know it sounds weird but if you feel around above your eyes where your eyelids are your gonna feel a bone)also make sure you put the blush lightly on your cheekbone(im sure you know where that is..) and what your useing as far a eeliner goes sounds pretty good..aorry im talking soo much on this im 13 and i just know alot about this kind of stuff,(its just kinda like a natural insinct)...GOOD LUCK!!
there is something new called like perfect match or something that is supposed to match whatever skin tone you have. i would give it a try
Maybelline has a powder foundation (PureStay) in a few different shades of colors. From pale to fair-dark brown. It stays on and doesn't make your face look cake-ish. That's what I use and it works awesome! It's not very noticeable on your face and thats a really good thing! You can get it at Walmart, Target, Walgreens etc for $6.49; Definetely worth it!
It is perfectly fine to not wear any eyeshadow. I think eyes look better without it anyways. Especially when you have long curled eyelashes because it looks prettier. Sometimes eyeshadow can distracts you from seeing the color and shape of your eyes.
here's a link to them on ebay
I cant help you with the concealer problem....but no i dont think it is weird at all that you dont wear eyeshadow..

I'm looking for a good concealer.I've gotten some sun spots .Any brands you might recommend?
Buy some sunscreen too - age spots are a sign of sun damage.I'm looking for a good concealer.I've gotten some sun spots .Any brands you might recommend?
Dermablend foundation and powder setting.. I love this stuff it works great for my uneven skin tones.I'm looking for a good concealer.I've gotten some sun spots .Any brands you might recommend?
MAC has a good concealer it looks natural against your skin.
neutrogena!
Estee Lauder has a couple of really good ones that cover good and stay on all day
they also have products to get rid of age spots, they work pretty good
Well, I don't know about concealer, but I have a tip for treating the sun spots. Squeeze some fresh lemon juice into a cup. Dip your finger in it and put the juice on the age spots. It works as a bleaching agent, lightening them. Just don't leave it on too long. Maybe only a minute or two. You don't want the acid in the lemon to burn your skin. Wash it off with water and you should see the results. Hope it works for you.hair treatment

Is there a way to make concealer less blotchy? or is it just my own skin making it look like that? ?
make sure your getting the right shade for your skin tone. also make sure that your blending it so it looks natural.
also using a tinted moisturizer/foundation makes you look more natural. Is there a way to make concealer less blotchy? or is it just my own skin making it look like that? ?
you can try a cram based concealer ... water based can make your skin look blotchy ... and also the application, never rub concealer in ... you should only tap it in to the spots you would like to cover. Is there a way to make concealer less blotchy? or is it just my own skin making it look like that? ?
just rub it in REALLY good. i have tru-match and it looked blotchy until i rubbed it for like a couple minutes into my skin so only you know it's there :)
I suggest you make sure you have a moisturizer on and then just dab it on and lightly smooth it out.
rub it in circles to blend it with your skin more, and first put on some primer

Fecking blemish on my face, best concealer..?
I've tried lots of different foundations; pressed powders %26amp; etc. So, school starts tomorrow .. %26amp; there happens to be a blemish on my chin. Half my makeup is too dark, some too light .. %26amp; some are just too thick. I need suggestions, this blemish really needs cover up %26amp; I'm not sure which brand to buy. Don't give me the ';bare minerals'; suggestion, either. I'm going to the drug store.
I don't want powders.Fecking blemish on my face, best concealer..?
the best way to cover-up a blemish and/or acne scar is actually to use your normal foundation that closely matches your skin and then some sort of cover-up stick or cream that also matches your skin tone. NOt lighter and not dark. Same color as your skin. I honestly would break down and go to a department store to either Bobbi Brown (my fave), estee lauder or clinique and have somebody color match you for your foundation and then they can also recommend proper way to cover up the blemish. They are kind of pricey, but I find that the quality of the products are far superior to drugstore brands. Bobbi brown is my favorite. I use her oil free foundation and the blemish cover-up stick and then set with translucent powder.Fecking blemish on my face, best concealer..?
uh well fine, dont choose mine as best answer. it does work asshat. hope you get pimples fo' life. Report Abuse
I have two suggestions. try to pop it if possible and then use clearasil (or something like it) on it all day today, even if you have to reapply it all day, keep washing it too. clean and treat before bed and put a clean pillowcase on your pillow. And for tomorrow at school, put a little undereye concealer on the spot after you have cleansed and treated it with clearasil. Then apply your favorite base and I know you don't want powder but you must always seal your make-up with powder. I have 30 years experience with all kind of makeup, including grease paint and stage makeup and powder is alway important. it seals the makeup it is more important to follow a proper process than what kind of makeup. You can get the same results with affordable drugstore make up, that you can expensive products. I've used both. I like both. the second suggestion: There are more brands out there that you can get from the drugstores that are just like bare minerals. Loreal has one and neutrogena has one, they are both at the drugstores. Just use a small brush and apply it heavy on the spot. I tried both these brands before I spent $85.00 on the real bare minerals. Also larger JCPenny's store have bare minerals in the store. I will not buy any makeup over the net or by mail because I have to try it first.
i use neutrogena skin clearing, oil free concealer. it doesnt clog you pores, it actually DOES clear up blemishes. and i have a very light skin tone so its hard for me to find stuff that is that right shade and everything, i use fair and it covers great.
hope this helps!

You need Benefit boi-ing concealer! Or Touche Eclat by YSL... Boots do their own version which is just as good, and costs a lot less.. I suffer from dark circles under my eyes... seems it's hereditary, in my case!!
Blend the concealer well, and finish with some loose powder.
YSL Touche Eclat works wonders i swear!! Its something i could just not live without.
Try the latest foundation from MAX FACTOR - cant remember the name but its the latest one - age defying or something. That stuff really works. Go to the website for a sample - thats where I got mine and its damned good stuff. Covers a multitude of sins better than concealer ever could xxxxxxxxxx
hylexin then use lumier by ralph lauren... cheaper version of the lumier are available- try them

the best way to concealer dark bags are 1 you can buy a lilac cover stick and use it under a foundation or 2 use a brush and a Little lilac eyeshadow under eyes then apply your foundation the lilac cant be seen and it evens out the skin tone as a make up artist this is what i use
Try YSL's Touche Eclat, it's a bit pricey but works for me!
I find it helps to get concealor that is lighter than your skintone because the light reflects off of them
You aren't doing anything wrong, maybe its just the brand that's

I get breakouts occasionally. I need a GREAT concealer that is awesomeConcealer for blemishishes doesn't rub off?

Makeup/Skin Help: Sunscreen and Concealer?
Hi my nose is burnt, like bright red, how can i heal my sunburn? how can i cover it with makeup? and any tips on applying under-eye concealer so it doesn't get all cakey but still gives me enough coverage? thnx %26lt;333Makeup/Skin Help: Sunscreen and Concealer?
Aloe Vera gel will help heal the sunburn faster. If you want to cover it up, be careful, when you have a burn like that your makeup tends to look really cakey especially if you start to peel. For under your eyes, you need to get a yellow-based creamy concealer, pat it w/ your ring finger until it's blended.Makeup/Skin Help: Sunscreen and Concealer?
Try a mineral powder on your sunburn, has saved me a few times in summer. Try applying yuor concealer under yuor eyes with a brush. Good Luck
The best way to get rid of a sunburn is use a sunburn healing agent that has aloe vera in it. As for the concealer, you can cover the sunburn up, but there still might be some redness left underneath.

and less then $30.

Physicians Formula has a duo concealer that has green on 1 side %26amp; light on the other. I saw that brand at walmart, %26amp; cvs. So they probably sell it @ most drug stores or grocery stores. I just pasted the link 2 show u wat it lookz like.Where can i find green concealer.?
Boots No7 do a good one. It's a Green Base Calmer, or something with that name. It's in a green tube. It's not expensive and my friend swears by it (she has really rosy cheeks)
=]
I have one by physician's formula and it was pretty cheap - maybe $8? many drugstore brands offer green concealer, so it should be relatively easy to find
Neutrogena has some, you can buy it at Walgreens. I think it's around $7.
sephora ummm i think smashbox is the brand that sells it.
Almay has one; sold in Walgreen Right now in my area it's 50% off

Concealer wrong shade?
I have the Stila Perfecting Concealer and it is in the lightest shade. When I apply it to the blemish I blend well using circular patting motions with a concealer sponge or my fingertips or a concealer brush. When I am done and I set it, I can slightly see a little circle of color darker than my skin tone around the blemish. This isn't very noticeable, but slightly. Is this normal?Concealer wrong shade?
The final color result will depend on the kind of area you are concealing. If you are covering a red-ish zit, I would recommend using an even lighter shade. If that doesnt work, try using less.Concealer wrong shade?

Anything by L'oreal, like the tru match concealer. It has like 6 shades, so pick a slightly lighter shade for undereye concealing
Clean and Clear makes an undereye cream called Morning Burst. Use this first. Then follow up with whatever brand of concealer you choose. The Morning Burst will help brighten the undereye area while keeping it moisturized. Be sure to get enough sleep and drink TONS of water to prevent circles as well!
I dont really know much about makeup but my wife usually buys all her makeup from this company in the internet called Artistry. I've done some research on this brand and its said that its way better than all the other leading companies. The reason why nobody really knows about it its because the company doesnt do advertisement. You should check it out they have some really neat stuff the website is..

Is there some really good concealer?
I need concealer but with out it making me look really pale and scary see I'm going to cosplay and my skin is light brown and can last the heat without coming off and look natural/Is there some really good concealer?
I think what you are looking for is a thick creamy makeup - which is what concealer is. However, you could also try a compact cream foundation. You can layer this for a full coverage effect. Good Luck on your Cosplay! Is there some really good concealer?
Physicians formula. There is a duo one that has the green and skin coloured one. The green goes over scars and red blemished to disguise them and then the flesh coloured one is for under they eyes and also to give extra coverage on the blemishes. Its really great . If you have a conclearer thats too pale, just go over it with a tiny bit of foundation thats your colour and it will give you more coverage aswell . Good luck babes!
Neutrogena has some awesome concealers that last through everything. They also have all kinds of shades for everyones skin tones. Check out this site for info on traveling and beauty tips http://snibbiesworld.blogspot.com/
I LOVE Signature Club A concealers and M.A.C. concealers.
MAC concealers are great. a bit pricy but well worth the money.

The RIGHT way to apply concealer??
I have light skin...how do i put on concealer to where it covers but it looks natural instead of all caked on?The RIGHT way to apply concealer??
To apply concealer:
Steps:
1. Wash your hands before handling your face. Dirt and oils on your hands will only aggravate the blemish.
2. Choose a concealer appropriate to the color and type of blemish you wish to hide. Concealer is a creamier foundation makeup with added pigments intended for specific parts of your face.
3. Pick a yellow-tinted concealer to hide red blemishes; choose a concealer a little lighter than your blemish for hiding darker marks.
4. Choose a masking cosmetic (which is thicker than concealer and has added pigment) to hide more prominent blemishes, such as small scars left from pimples or skin irregularities.
5. Apply the concealer or masking cosmetic over the blemish using your finger, an eye shadow brush or sponge.
6. Blend the edges with the surrounding skin, using a circular motion.
7. Set the masking cosmetic with a special setting powder, then apply oil-free foundation and powder on top.
Tips:
Try a cover stick, which is a stick version of a concealer. These contain a high proportion of wax to add body and thickness.
Masking cosmetics are usually not available at drugstores or beauty aid stores but can be purchased at major department stores. They're expensive, but effective.
Hope that helps. The RIGHT way to apply concealer??
the little wedge sponges are awesome and cheap. they help you blend really well and are so soft you wont pull too hard on your skin. you can even wash them with soap and water and reuse if you want.
Also, if you use facial moisturizer, try mixing some moisturizer and some concealer on the back of your hand, then apply with the sponge wedge for a very sheer, dewy, foundation effect.
you should only be using a dimes amount! concealer spreads around easier if you apply moustrizer first! go to MAC and ask for help! They'll show you what fits your skin tone and things like that! also look at some of their bronzer! take a sample home, and then save money by buying the cheaper kind at Target or something.
dab a litle using ur finger in the area that u need and spread with a triangular sponge. the sponge will absorb the excess and leave enough for full, natural coverage. the sponmge is smooth and pointed so it can reach all the crevices in ur face

What works better on acne/acne scabs? liquid or powder concealer?
There is something called a liquid powder, it goes on liquid but it doesn't streak.. there is one from revlon that works over acne scabs and doesn't look fake, plus if your skin is oily it helps not make your face look oily because the powder absorbs some of it.

What's a good concealer for........?
covering up a freckle! i don't have freckleS like the kind that's in now, but i have one really small freckle that i don't like. how can i cover it up?
brands of concealer please, i usually buy makeup from brands like clinique and lancome but drugstore brands are welcome. What's a good concealer for........?
sheer cover i guess, i dont no if they sell it in drugstores. or covergirl its really good and they have good stuff. What's a good concealer for........?
You typically use concealer under your eyes to lighten up any darkened areas around them. They are not used for acne or freckles, because they will cover it up, but draw more attention to that area by providing it with a lighter shade than the rest of your foundation.
If you have red acne that you want to cover -- use a green (I do believe it is still called a concealer) in an Avon catalog.
As for freckles, I honestly wouldn't be very concerned. The foundation alone will cover most of them -- especially small ones.

What's your favorite summer ';base'; makeup? (i.e. concealer/foundation/powder)?
Cover Girl Tru Blend Liquid Foundation
It is very light, not heavy or cake like make up and even better it isn't too expensive. What's your favorite summer ';base'; makeup? (i.e. concealer/foundation/powder)?
I normally DONT use powder cus I sweat it off, but liquids clog my pores.
I combine a little bit of liquid foundation in my palm and sprinle on a bit of either translucent powder or powdery foundation. I rub together and apply. VOILA!!! perfect summer skin that wont leave your face or clog your pores!!!
On normal days I wear all three of those (i have redish pale skin). I make sure to wash my face so it stays pretty!!!What's your favorite summer ';base'; makeup? (i.e. concealer/foundation/powder)?
Personally, in the summertime I don't like much on during the day b/c i live in FLORIDA so i just like a tinted moisturizer (cover girl CG Smoothers) and a pressed powder to set it. Some bronzer and a pink/peach blush!
I only put Bare Minerals under my eyes to cover darkness %26amp; that's it...it feels good in the summer to not wear much makeup...especially since it's so hot %26amp; sticky out...it lets your skin breathe
pressed powderrrr%26lt;3
Bare Minerals. Everything else slides off my face when it's hot outside. This feels like it melts into your skin, and the foundation can also be used as concealer, so I don't have to use it seperately. It stays on all day, and I don't have to touch up.
If I don't feel like applying make-up, I just use a bit of bronzer on my cheeks, mascara, and lip balm.
Mary Kay Tinted Moisturizer. It does three steps--moisturizes, adds enough color, has sun protection.
bare minerals all the way! putting mineral veil on first is a trick the bare escentuals CEO shared on qvc, it works well in hot %26amp; humid climates!
powder is the best makeup in summer as it won't let swaet come on ur face

Whats the best concealer for light acne? ?
Something that you can get for drugstore and not too much money and will cover up minor acne (maybe just a couple red spots and one or two whiteheads) and won't look fake on light skin?
Also, is there something that you can use to both cover acne and cover up under eye circles?Whats the best concealer for light acne? ?
My favorites are by Neutrogena, Skin Clearing blemish concealer and Skin Smoothing undereye concealer. I also use Almay Clear Complexion foundation which is also great! They all clear up blemishes really well, last long, and are inexpensive at Walmart! good luck! :)Whats the best concealer for light acne? ?
Typically speaking, you need to use a concealer on your under eye circles. A cheap yellow one (you can find for 1-2 dollars) will do. Getting a yellow based one is important because it diffuses the purple tones of your under-eye region. It also diffuses the redness of acne spots!
Additionally, if you're looking for full coverage, Revlon's ColorStay (approx $12) is fantastic. They have a good selection of colors, and they are extremely opaque.
If you're looking for something in more of a medium coverage, I suggest using Maybelline's Pure Makeup (Approx. $6). It's great too because it's water-based so it won't encourage more acne to produce.
Good luck!
nutrogena 3 in 1 conclear (acne and undereye circles)
or nutrogena green conclear to counteract the redness

MAC Studio finish concealer?
Okay so i just bought the studio finish concealer from MAC to cover up acne scars, redness, etc. It covers well, but whenever I apply it, it looks soo cakey! I've tried using a concealer brush, a sponge, my fingers.. everything! am I doing something wrong? is there a way to apply this without it looking caked on?
thanks !MAC Studio finish concealer?
use moisteriser under it make sure it sinks in befor applying th concealer. also use ur fingers or a brush instead of a sponge, sponges soak up 2 much product, so ur end up with a cakey look (not 2 mention waste of product)
do light layers at a time

i use maybelline's mineral power concealer and i have acne prone skin and it has not broken me out because of the formula. it also gives good coverage and is not that expensive. it looks/seems tiny but there's a lot of product in it.

Which type of concealer?
I was planning to get powder, but should I get liquid or stick instead? I don't know how to use liquid concealer...Which type of concealer?
is best to use either a liquid or a stick it works better, best ones are oil based, they cover better and won't run out of your face, the way you use concealer is simple, you use it to hide imperfections/ blemishes on your face prior to putting your foundation, make sure you buy a shade lighter than your natural color, if you need any more help contact me at Rosaniela@yahoo.comWhich type of concealer?
Powder concealer tends to get really dry, flaky and chalky.
I recommend liquid concealer.
Its the absolute best choice.
I Personally don't like sticks because they tend to be greasy and thick, but that's my opinion.
1. Choose a concealer a shade lighter than your skin tone/foundation, especially for dark spots.
2. Apply your concealer with a small-tipped makeup brush, dabbing it into the desired areas. Then use your finger to dab it in rather than rub it in. Rubbing causes the concealer to come off instead of soaking into your skin.
3. Pat the concealer on until it blends. Otherwise, it appears blotchy and unnatural.
4. Set your concealer with a lightweight or translucent powder. This helps prevent your concealer from creasing or rubbing off. If you have extremely dry skin, you may not need powder.
I Hope This Helps!
:)
Using a loose powder with a brush, especially
something like Bare Minerals or even the Cover
Girl compact powder work really smoothly and
nice. You may want to consider liquid if you are
looking for something to cover up a lot of acne,
for example. I am definitely a fan of powders
though.
Take Care %26amp; Good Luck!
depends on you skin type. if you have oily skin/combination you should use stick. applying foundation BASE cream is very important bc if you do not apply it first before the concealer... it may be noticeable or ';not well absorbed'; in the skin
It's not hard to use liquid concealer... just make sure you blend it all around good and dont have a ';mask'; along your jaw...
girls that dont blend it good look so gross.
I'd say get both... I use both at the same time. I layer a thin layer first with liquid.. then i put a little powder all over..
Don't get liquid concealer, it cakes on the skin and clogs the pores, not only this by it makes the face look SUPER shiny, use Physicians Formula, it's healthy for the skin, and fairly inexpensive...
It's really odd that I'm a guy and I know this.. but, I'm in a lot of plays so I need to use it to make my skin darker. But the liquid works best and for double the action apply the powder on top of the wet liquid.
apply with two fingers only
apply downwards motions or circular
thats all you need to know..
just make sure you dont have streaks and make sure its even..
look at your face in different lighting and at different angles..
make sure you smmoth down to your neck so you dont have really bad make up line
i would say liquid and get a makeup applier thing those little white things. and never get powder i bought that it sucks and gets everywhere haa
http://beauty.about.com/od/concealers/qt鈥?/a>
I hate liquid anything. I use bare minerals. Their bisque covers up anything I want it too and you can't tell I have make up on. It's powder.
liquid or stick personally....its easier to blend and fix. powder is harder to apply to smaller spots like under the eyes, pimples, scars etc.
I would only use liquid concealer for heavy duty cover ups but I like to use powder.
liquid is the best. either the liquid or the stick works
liquid from estee lauder at Dillard's
and they'll teach you how to put it on
and your shade and what ever else :)
i use liquid bcz its not as powdery fake lookin as the Powder kind
liquid is best
stick
liquid is the best.

i would say liquid and get a makeup applier thing those little white things. and never get powder i bought that it sucks and gets everywhere haa
http://beauty.about.com/od/concealers/qt鈥?/a>
I hate liquid anything.

Can bright yellow concealer cover dark circles?
http://store.bareescentuals.com/on/deman鈥?/a>Can bright yellow concealer cover dark circles?
I asked my dermatologist this same question the other day.
he said that yellow works...haven't bought it yet..but he's the Doctor!!Can bright yellow concealer cover dark circles?
It depends if your skin is bright yellow or not.
NO!
It's supposed to be able to, but I've found that a concealer a shade or two lighter than your natural skin tone works just as well. However, you'd have to apply foundation over it, otherwise it'll look fake and scary.

Can we use concealer on pimple marks everyday?n which brand is better?
PIMPLES
Pimples is a unique skin disorder.Pimples are lesions that occur when the skin鈥檚 pores are obstructed or infected. They can form for a variety of reasons. However, the mechanism involved in causing some pores to collapse and block drainage of natural oils is not really understood. Pimples may also crop up for genetic reasons. It is not clear how it can be inherited from one鈥檚 parents, but studies do indicate a high occurrence of pimples in children whose parents had it,too.
The pimples associated with adolescence almost certainly occur because of hormonal changes that take place during puberty. Both males and females get an overdose of the male hormone testosterone during this period, causing excessive generation of sebaceous fluids that invariably cause pimples.
GIVEN BELOW ARE A FEW SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES TO FIGHT PIMPLES.
1.The most basic form of pimple prevention is hygiene and preventive skin care. Regular washing of the affected areas with mild soap is a must. The soap need not necessarily contain any chemicals designed to prevent pimples .However, face washing should not be overdone or the skin will become dehydrated .
2.Care should be taken on makeup, moisturizers and other skin care products. If these products are oil based,it would just make the problem worse. Use water based products instead.
3.Generally we rub, press or squeeze our pimples.Don鈥檛 when we do this,we risk spreading the bacteria to other areas.
4.Lemon juice diluted in water can be applied externally because of its antiseptic
quality.
5.Tea Tree oil can also be applied directly to infected pores.
6.Vitamin A tablets are also a natural and effective cure. Vitamin A promotes healthy skin.
7.Before bathing, apply a mixture of fresh tomato pulp, honey and rose-water to your face and keep for twenty minutes before washing off.
8.Juice of raw papaya is the best treatment for pimples.Apply fresh juice of raw papaya on pimples and get a good result.
9.Directly rub potato slices all over the face, helps to get rid of blemishes and
pimple scar.
10.Drink plenty of water and vegetable or fruit juices.
11.Use cucumber or other fruit and vegetable packs to cure pimple scars.
12.Maintain a diet that is rich in cottage cheese, salads, fresh juices, fish and
yogurt. These help to cleanse your system and ward off pimples.
13.Another overnight home remedy for pimples is to put a dab of toothpaste on it to help dry it out. Calamine lotion also will have the same drying effect.
14.Pound orange peel with water and apply to affected areas.
15.Another useful remedy for pimples is zinc. Which can be taken in a dose of 50 mg daily for a month and then reduce the dose.
16.You can clean your skin with apple cider vinegar as an overnight home pimple remedy.
17.Aspirin contains Beta hydroxy acid which is a powerful defoliant ,so you can crush 1to 2 Aspirin tablets mix with a little water and apply on pimples for 15 minutes and wash.
Finally, certain medications may temporarily alter the hormonal changes prevalent during adolescence and cause pimple outbreaks. If this is the case, a simple adjustment in medication may be all that is required. Can we use concealer on pimple marks everyday?n which brand is better?
Yes. If you have active pimples then Oxy makes a concealer with zit med in it. I use Clinique foundation daily, and I have found that when it comes to make up the more you spend, the nicer it is. You know what they say...you get what you pay for. And it is your face after all.Can we use concealer on pimple marks everyday?n which brand is better?
mine's non of those, i just use droplets which are vitamin to face and makes it look like makeup because it look bright and pinkish, and my pimple dried off leaving no mark:) take care of beauty:)) ENJOY!

Best lotion with concealer for face?
ok wats a good lotion that has makeup in it but it isnt expensive and works well through the day so i dont have to reaply it and it will also make my face look flawless not showing my pores..where can i get it and not so expensive?Best lotion with concealer for face?
You can try using a tinted moisturizer and use a pressed powder. But for flawless coverage you will need foundation. Try a mineral makeup and use primer underneath. The primer will help your makeup last all day. You didn't give a price range, but you should buy the best that you can afford.

Milia and undereye concealer??
I have a skin condition called millia. Its these tiny white bumps under my eyes. I also have really bad dark circles, so I have to use concealer to cover them up. However, by the end of the day, the concealer looks cakey and craked, and the little bumps look extremely caked up (likea lot of gunk around them). Any suggestions about what to do?? Thanks!Milia and undereye concealer??
I use a mineral concealer from the Signature Mineral Makeup. I use the Sunshine Yellow Color Correctors to conceal the appearance of dark under eye circles and puffiness. It is good for all skin tones and Soft Sunshine is best for light to medium-light skin tones.
I make sure my moisturizer is completely settled in and my skin is dry. BUT when I apply concealer, it goes on just before the moisturizer settles in completely.
Keep in mind...Apply in light layers.
You can apply concealer to specific areas the way I do OR - depending on your needs, you can apply concealer all over your face or even mix it into your moisturizer!
You do not need to buff on your concealer or corrector. Just lightly dust on you concealer. I get good long lasting results with Signature concealers. It doesn't get oily and is not caked on--unless you apply way too much.
Siganture makeup does not contain bismuth, parabens, cornstarch, or talc. That should help prevent more milia.Milia and undereye concealer??
I don't know much about the skin condition, but I tend to have circles under my eyes as well....I don't really like concealers... they do kinda look cakie!! What I like best is the eye primer from MAC... it comes in several colors for you to choose from, and it'll also make your eye makeup go on smoother...
Good Luck!!

Know anything about concealer?
Should concealer be lighter or darker than your skintone? Also, what concealer do you use and love? Thanks in advanceKnow anything about concealer?
I think it should be a shade lighter because usually you would put a foundation of the same shade of your skin over it. MAC has really good concealer but since I'm a poor former college student(darn student loans), I use Maybelline's True Match line. It works really well for me but they don't have a whole lot of different shades. Also, I've heard the Iman concealers are really good as well and not too expensive like MAC is.Know anything about concealer?
slightly lighter, but almost a match (you want dark areas to match the rest of your face).
I use MAC concealer and foundation, and I love them both. It's expensive, but after trying cover girl and others in that price range, and finding that those didn't conceal much, I was just happy to find one that worked!
Your concealor should be a shade or two lighter than your actual skint tone. If you have trouble finding one and you use foundation, it shouldn't be a big issue, but when wearing alone, use a nice pressed powder to set it. It is also a lot easier to find a powder that matches. I love covergirl. Also, if all else fails, try going to your local drug store and ask one of the pepolpe there to help you. Hope it helped!
Concealer should match your skintone. It is no longer fashionable to have lighter concealer underneath your eyes. Right now I use ';amazing concealer.'; That is the only thing this company makes and it really covers. It can be found online at sephora and also in their bigger stores.
Concealer should match your skin tone. To test out colors you can do a stripe test with two or more colors on the side of cheek then pick which one blends in the most with your skin tone.
I use MaryKay.
I use a concealer made by Mary Kay...it works awesome. I also get it a shade lighter than my foundation.
It should be one shade lighter than your skin tone. I use MAC's concealer, its pretty good.
Concealer should be slightly lighter or match exactly. It depends what you are trying to hide. Remember that you need to match the basic undertones of your skin - pink, gold or neutral.
I really like the Dermablend line of comestics - you have to get the setting powder but the stuff just does not come off. Really stays on for the whole day.
concealer should be the same color as your skintone so that it doesnt show. Loreal has many different colors
It should be slightly lighter than your skintone because how else are you going to brighen up those under eye circles? Darker shades just emphasis it. Apply it with a latex sponge and go over it with a translucent powder to set it.
MAC concealer is the best because it makes such a noticeable difference that you can't even tell how late I stayed up the night before. It's a bit pricey at $20, but it's well worth the investment.
Be sure to replace your concealer at least every 3-4 months because it starts looking cakey and bacteria begins to form, disgusting. Replace your latex sponge weekly and clean your brushes weekly as well.
The concealer should be slightly darker than you skin tone, but it's VERY important that the undertones match as close as possible e.g. yellow/yellow orange/red orange, etc. This is the key to a perfect concealer look. It should really just look like you skin, but better!
Some of the best concealers are by Amazing Cosmetics, Three Custom Color Cosmetics and Laura Mercier Concealer.

Rimmel hide the blemish concealer is brilliant. you can get rimmel at target and walgreens.
Honestly, the powder concealers by Bare Essentials has provided the best coverage than anything I have ever tried, and I've tried lot's of things! It comes in a few different shades, and you apply it over your regular face powder. I had a zit that I popped, and then it turned red in that area. When I put this stuff over it, you could barely see it anymore. Also, since it is a powder, it will never look cakey like cream concealers do. Plus it lasts forever. I know it's not a drugstore concealer, but it's definitely worth a try. You can find it at Sephora, and if you don't like it you can always return it. Good luck!
Maybelline.
Neutrogena oil free skin clearing mascara. It has green corrective color in it to reduce the pimple scarring. The concealer is in a pen so its easy to apply. Just clean the tip every so often so there won't be bacteria buildup.

Does green concealer really hide zits?
green concealer is meant to tone down redness, so if a zit is red and inflamed it does a pretty good job of covering it up. i'd still use a dab of powder, foundation, or regular concealer over that too though.Does green concealer really hide zits?
A much better product is the blemish treatment concealer by Bee Luscious Cosmetics.
It covers and conceals as it also fights the blemish and gets rid of it.Does green concealer really hide zits?
Nothing hides zits. All it will do is hide the redness of the pimple. The bump will still be there. It just looks worse if you put concealer over top of it because you have these bumps all over your face, but they don't look like zits either. It's kind of strange... The concealer will just make the pimple worse.
The green can counter the redness, but then you absolutely must cover the green spot with regular color concealer or you will just look... green.
Better to just spend a bit more money on some really good concealer that is exactly the color of your skin.

Bobbi Brown, Benefit Boing, or Laura Mercier Concealer!?!?
for dark undereye circles !Bobbi Brown, Benefit Boing, or Laura Mercier Concealer!?!?
Depends on your age... Boing is going to cover the most. However, if you're of a more mature age (30ish or over), the Bobbi Brown and the Laura Mercier may be a better choice, although the coverage won't be as good. The latter two will melt into the skin more, so lines under the eyes are smoothed out (the coverage will be similar to Benefit's erase paste). If your problem is JUST dark circles and you want the most coverage available go for the boing.Bobbi Brown, Benefit Boing, or Laura Mercier Concealer!?!?
I love all three of those but I prefer Benefit Bo-ing.
Also, take a look at Benefit Erase Paste, its amazing as well.

Returning a concealer?
I bought a concealer today at Walgreens but I chose the wrong color. I already opened it and tried it out a bit. Do you think I can exchange for a different color? I don't want to keep it if it's the wrong color :\Returning a concealer?
No you can't return it if you've opened it and used it.. I doubt I guess you could call and ask?..Returning a concealer?
I'm not sure about Walgreens, but Rite Aid allows you to return things if they are the wrong color.

i have olive type skin and i need a concealer that will actually work and stay on the whole day to cover my dark circles completeley not a little bit but all of them so please help me out and also if you know a very good foundation to go it please let me know thanks...Best concealer to cover dark circles?
Okay I am the concelar Queen, it is my must have....
Now I have tried everything. L'oreal True Match isn't very good, so I don't know what the 1st chick is talking about.
Revlon is a'ight, I wouldn't recommend it if you want to conceal dark circles.
I LOVE Sally Hanson's Concelar Wheel that is the best. It comes with a yellow (dark cicrcles), A tan (for touch ups), a light beige (for masking bags and circles), a green to prevent redness, and a purple .
It costs $10.00 and it is freakin awesome. Trust me it is wonderful. You won't be disappointed.Best concealer to cover dark circles?
go to perscriptives at macys. get the camoflage cream. they will match your skin
Covergirl.
Try covergirl or loreal cheap and works....also make sure you test it out on your face not hand because it tends to differ in color.
Chanel under eye concealer it works, trust me I am old gay man LOL I use it every day.
Bobbi Brown creame concealer. Its the best!
Aloette has a great concealer, but I have fallen in love ith our new Look Alive, a mineral eye highlighter %26amp; concealer. I have used it on just about eveery skin tone %26amp; it has not failed me yet.
We also have our Eye Recovery Complex that actually helps decrease dark circles aby about 30%. email me if you need help.

Try getting plenty of sleep instead. That's the best beauty treatment a girl can give herself.

Good concealer and blush/bronzer for school? :)?
I need a good concealer and blush/bronzer for school.
Preferably from the drugstore.
I need a concealer that will be medium coverage. That will cover my under eye circles. And that will cover my blemishes/redness.
I need a blush or bronzer. Which is better for school? And preferably a drugstore product too :)
Thankyou so much if you could help!Good concealer and blush/bronzer for school? :)?
Covergirl Freshcomplexion concealer does a great job covering under eye circles and ruddy cheeks. (I look like a severely flushed zombie every morning and it evens out my skin in a flash.)
Blush and bronzer are both great. It depends on what look you want, though, so you might want to pick up one of each.
Walgreens and Target both have good selections and makeup deals.Good concealer and blush/bronzer for school? :)?
THE BEST CONCEALER I HAVE TRIED IS BARE MINERALS-THE FOUNDATION COVERS LIGHT, OR HEAVY...DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH COVERAGE YOU NEED! YOU CAN USE IT AS A FOUNDATION %26amp; CONCEALER.
ALSO, FOR DRUGSTORE BRANDS, PHYSICIANS FORMULA CONCEALER %26amp; MINERAL FOUNDATION IS GREAT BECAUSE IT TOO CAN BE USED AS A CONCEALER OR FOUNDATION! JUST GET A GREAT BLENDING BRUSH!
AN AWESOME BRONZER IS ALSO PHYSICIANS FORMULA (ALSO LOVED BY BLAKE LIVELY! :) THEY HAVE A BUNCH, BUT LOOK FOR ONE THAT HAS SHIMMERS.
HOPE I COULD HELP YOU OUT! HAVE A GREAT SCHOOL YEAR!
OR TRY VICTORIA'S SECRET BRONZERS!

There is only so much you can get from a drugstore, But if you want a good concealer, I would recommend L'oreal's liquid concealers. For blush, covergirl has good single blush palettes, and they also have a bronzer in the same format as the blush.
cvs is good, if your going to HS, then bronzer , mayb
but if you do put on blush, b sure not to put 2 much
you could even get a blush and bronzer in one product, they hav those at CVS
hope i helped :)
I love Neutragena because it's so good for the skin and looks so natural! They make concealer, bronzer, and blush, and pretty much everything else. Their line is great, I hope you check it out!
i have Revlon color stay foundation and i love it,
get a bronzer that isn't too orangey and blush that is sudtle
I love Physician's formula bronzer! I swear by it for everything. It has a gift for hiding all the things i try to hide. Ya really can't go wrong. It costs about 15 dollars at Wal-mart but it lasts forever! Good luck :)
Covergirl bronzer works AH mazing !
i use mac concealer but covergirl works good too !
