you should probably use a foundation primer, with a acne fighting moisturizer underneath. the combo will a) help fill in the bumpiness and create a smoother surface and b) prevent all the makeup form getting into your blemishes/pores.

I absolutely love Bare Escentual's Foundation with SPF 15. I use it to cover my dark circles and acne. I also have tried it on a few freckles on my face, and it works wonders. Plus, it's so light you don't even feel it! You can get it at sephora.
u should definitely google Dinair Airbrush...its so good...it covers everything and makes my skin look flawless. It can even cover tattoos so im sure it will cover freckles. Its all water based so its not bad for ur skin. its the best makeup ive ever used! anywho, i hope i helped...=)
