Concealer or Foundation?

I usually have a few pimples that are a bit red, so i've been using concealer to cover them, but also to even out my skin tone, because i have a few blemishes.

Both first moisterizer then foundation then concealer then a little bit of loose powder to make everything look evenConcealer or Foundation?
Redness is always a problem with zits, I know what you mean. It's funny how a new one sprouts right before you need to look your best. Sucks, but what can you do?





I use a good thick concealer right on top of the zit. It helps if you moisturise your skin before you apply any makeup because it gives a good surface for your makeup to adhere to. I use Thin Lizzy, it gives amazing coverage and it lasts forever. Use the flat of a concealer brush to dab some of the concealer on the zit, then use a patting motion to blend the edges into your skin. Try not to pat the area on the zit too much or else you end up wiping off the concealer. Use a foundation brush to apply your foundation afterwards, it works a treat.





For an extra solid coverage, dust your entire face with translucent powder to set your makeup.

both. concealer covers up the pimples because its a thicker consistency than foundation. but foundation lightly covers your whole face and evens out your skin tone. concealer usually looks weird by itself because you have a few spots of skin thats a little differnt color than the rest of your face. put on a little concealer, blend it out, and cover with foundation.
both. use foundation all around and then use concealer on the really red ones,make sure to blend it.. and to make sure it lasts longer and reduce shine, try using a lil bit of powder to finish it off. but make sure you don't use to much so it doesn't look caked on(:
Foundation is good to cover uneven skin tone, and concealer is good for those small spots that need touch ups. If you have minimal uneven skin tone, I would just stick to concealer.
get mac concealer! its pricey, but i swear it is the best concealer in the world, it works as a coverup, but it makes your skin really even, your skin looks flawless. go to youtube, and type in juicystar07, watch some of her vids!

you should do some tests You have already tried concealer now try some foundation and concealer or just foundation or try some moisturiser
Use concealer to hide blemishes and red spots and then foundation holds it all in place. You can use a powder foundation to set your concealer so that it won't rub off.
Foundation, cause most of it can double up as a concealer
i like using both.
