I don't really want to pay more than 拢14.
I live in London so I can get most things.
I have very pale skin which can get quite dry and I have a few spots most of the time :(
(I'm 17)What is a good concealer?
boing by benefit it has to be the best ever u cant even see the spots! What is a good concealer?
I've used Tesco's concealer for a while now! It's pale enough for my pale skin and it's quite creamy. If you find a concealer a little dry you could always try a little extra moisteriser underneath.
I use Medicated Witch Hazel Concealer Stick. Can be bought in Boots or Superdrug. Nice and cheap. In the meantime, Boots Witch Hazel Spot stick, which takes care of the zits and is made for night and day wear.
use cover girl they have a line of things from oily to dry there products works best for just about any age. also lines to match your shade perfect
I use the Witch Stick, its available in sainsburys %26amp; superdrug %26amp; possibly boots. Its less than 拢5 i think but i would suggest putting a bit of moisturiser before hand.
Superdrug have a range called true they have the best concealer for pale skin and its sooo cheap.
I dont use concealer i use my own foundation but buy it in a lighter shade because i find concealer is too thick i put it on after i'v put my foundation on.
dream matte mousse bu maybeline is good and looks natural
Try putting a brown paper bag over your head!!
They are dead cheap too!!...lol... Only teasing!!!
Bobbi Brown has the best I've ever used.
i think my one is rimmel, i got it from boots.
pancake stick then use powder max factor oh and dont forget to use moisturiser before hand

What's a good concealer ?
I need some concealer that doesn't look cakey and I can put all over my face. And is also good to put on my lips to make them lighter.
Oh, and do you know a good primer or concealer that can be used as a primer?
Any (inexpensive) suggestions?
Thanks. :]What's a good concealer ?
The concealer I use is from everyday minerals. I think it's absolutely amazing. https://www.everydayminerals.com/index.p鈥?/a>
The best part about everyday minerals is that, you can get free samples and all you have to do is pay for shipping. But, I also like mac's concealer. But that's pretty expensive. As for primers, I use urban decay primer potion for my eyes. And I don't use one for my foundation.
hope I helped.
:DWhat's a good concealer ?
Loreal if you want good and inexpensive. If you want the absolute best, but will cost about $30, Chanel is the #1!!
Mary Kay, def. not avon
bare escentuals makes a really cool concealer
MAC 's concealer also works fairly well
And my favourite primer is the green Makeup Forever primer
Dermablend is very good for the concealer, it covers perfectly. I also like lancom a lot because it is very light and it works. Mac relvon and mary kay also work just fine and not as expensive as those two.
You just have to try and see which one is the best for you :)
For the lip, I would prefer using foundation from neutrogena glow sheer. It is light and sheer ;)
Hope this would help you a little bit
i love elf's concealer (it cost a $3 and works best for me)

the sonia kashuk hidden agenda concealer set work awesome too, it comes with 4 colors. you can get it at target for $9.99

and you can use whatever concealer for a primer it can work as both or your liquid foundation.

Rimmel recover anti fatigue concealer?
hi, i was wondering if anyone had used this concealer, does it cover up dark circles? or if anyone knows of a better concealer that will work but is cheap ( 拢10 or less, and i live in england). thanks xRimmel recover anti fatigue concealer?
i have used this on my dark circles under the eyes and it worked really well and my dark circles were hardly noticable. you have to look VERY close to see them lol. whatever concealer you choose, go for one with a yellow undertone that is one to two shades lighter than the colour of the skin itself. (pinkish shades will only accentuate dark circles). also make sure the shade you choose is a good match for the natural tone of your skin. make-up artists advise testing concealer shades on the inside of the forearm.
always apply your concealer on top of foundation and before you add powder. if you try to do things the other way round, you might wipe the concealer off when applying your foundation. to disguise under-eye darkness, gently pat concealer under the eyes using the index finger. exert only gentle pressure and blend outwards, taking care not to drag the skin.
or to conceal bags under the eyes, put concealer on the shadow beneath the bag, not on the bag itself, otherwise you'll end up highlighting rather than hiding the problem.
remember to start at the centre of the imperfection and feather outwards.
to prevent the concealer highlighting a problem you're trying to hide, apply a light moisturizer as an undercoat. allow it to soak in and then dab away any excess with a tissue. this will make the skin soft and more even to work on. for extra staying power, once you have applied concealer, especially over pimples, set with a light dusting of sheer powder. if concealed areas dry out and start to flake throughout the day, gently pat on a small amount of moisturizer.
hope this helps
xRimmel recover anti fatigue concealer?
Hi I loved the foundation and that did the job enough so I should think the concelar would be great, I stopped using the foundation as I found that it left my face shimmery but it did look good, I would say try it, another one that is great but only tescos do it is Barbra Dalys Make Up range concelar, its fantastic and in just over a fiver, I love it its in a little black pot.
please don't use Rimmel - they test their products on animals! try Urban decay instead: http://www.asos.com/Urban-Decay/Urban-De鈥?/a> it is a favourite of celebrities :-)
It is very good, covers up uneven skin tones and gives a smooth concealed cover. Also helps dark circles

Help i don't no wot to do with make up what do u put on first concealer foundation and powder?
Well first you need to put on moisturizer then the concealer foundation and powder. After that then you put on the eye liner , eye shadow , lip liner, lipstick, and blush.Help i don't no wot to do with make up what do u put on first concealer foundation and powder?
put on foundation first. Not everyone needs concealer as well. If you really so its probably for under your eyes and for blemishes. Apply that next and then finish with the powder. If you head to your local make up counter they will walk you through this process. You will have to but products though. Check out Youtube Help i don't no wot to do with make up what do u put on first concealer foundation and powder?
Apply the foundation first, rub it in properly so it doesnt crack. Then the concealer, to cover dark circles. and then comes the powder, then the blush, the eyeliner, the mascara, the lipliner and the gloss/lipstck
Be sure to remove all the makeup before bed!
You can put on concealer before or after your foundation but I prefer after.
1) Concealer
2) Foundation
3) Powder
1. foundation
2.concealer
3. powder.
But if you are young don't use all these stuff, use only the concealer if you have dark circles and zits you want to conceal.
This is what I do.. Get maybelline dream matte mousse It works sooo good and doesnt harm your skin. Put on the concealer under your eyes and on zits or wherever you think nessary. Then put the dream matte mousse on and it will blend the concealer and the dream matt to make it all look the same color. Apply some bronzer or blush and then put on powder. you'll look fantastic! =))
ps the dream matte mousse is kinda expensive but it last long and its worth it.. also you dont want to use cheap stuff that wrecks your skin .. hope this helps!! =)

A CONCEALER THAT DOESN'T CAUSE PIMPLES.What is the best concealer?
I use Mary Kay because it is non-comedogenic, and it matches any skin tone really well. It also is very inexpensive, and the foundation and concealer I use has SPF in it!What is the best concealer?
I think Bare Minerals powder is really good as a concealer, plus not that expensive. Doesn't add oil to your skin, stays for a long time. Looks fantastic!
I like maybelline mineral powderand conealer it works the same as bare minerals, but costs even less. Plus it does not block pores at all. To find out what color to buy click here: http://www.maybelline.com/whatsnew/miner鈥?/a>
it depends on the coverage you are looking for. mineral make up doesn't really cover my scars very well, just the small blemishes. i would need a heavier cream concealer to cover up a dark scar. i like products from clinique. i don't like their face wash system though. it's very drying and irritating to my skin which is highly acne prone.
I prefer either the concealer sticks, or the liquid format. If you are looking for a concealer stick, I would recommend of on Stila's.

I was just wondering if the Lise Watier Colour Wheel covers acne very well? Thanks =DIs this a good concealer?
i swear! get sonia kashuk the best one i ever used
i have tried a lot from physican formula to neutrogena
BUT SONIA KASHUK IS THE BEST.. YOU CAN GET IT AT TARGET FOR $10!Is this a good concealer?
i have no idea....never heard of it.
i use Almay clear complexion concealer and it's amazing!
it's cheap, can get it at Walmart and similiar stores and hides acne really well! apply a little bit of moisturizer to the affected place before putting the concealer on though in case you have dry skin like me.
According to Michelle Phan, a makeup guru on YouTube %26amp; Xanga, she swears that Lise Watier has amazing makeup . I think you should find the product in the store and test it out for yourself first . And if you're acne's really intense, then I'm not sure if any makeup could make it look flawless . If that's the case, I suggest going to a dermatologist .

What's a good concealer?
From a drugstore. I rarely get acne, but I use the concealer as a cheap eyeshadow base. Because I don't feel like paying $15 for an eyeshadow primer. So does anyone know a good concealer that will make my eyeshadow last longer? What's a good concealer?
just try a neutral colored cream eyeshadow
i found an eyeshadow primer for $7.95 on drugstore.com form l'oreal
http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a…What's a good concealer?
I have always used Almay 3 step makeup. There is a concealer, liquid foundation and a compact that are all the same color. They are all oil free and are better for your skin then most other concealers.
I use Covergirl concealer. It works pretty well as an eyeshadow base for me. It doesn't let the eyeshadow bunch in the creases until over twelve hours of wearing it. Even then, the creases are minimal.
I use Clean Makeup by Covergirl.
It doens't go on that thick, so i think it would be good as a eyeshadow primer :]
But, if your using it for your face, apply it lightly, then use a makeup sponge to blend it in, then I use compact powder to make my face look softer!
Hope I helped
Oh, and it's really cheap, about $7 dollars for a 30ml bottle.

Whats the best concealer ?
i dont want to spend huge amounts of money but which gives the best coverage on dry skin...Whats the best concealer ?
I use dream liquid mousse air brush finish by maybelline. Its great! It isnt very costly, it covers really really nicely and brushes right over pores it is THE BOMB!! 8DWhats the best concealer ?
I love benefit's industrial strength concealer but rimmel's hide the blemish is nice too.
Benefit's industrial strength concealer is 拢15 but definitely worth it, rimmel's hide the blemish is less than 拢4.
Bourjois' Brush concealer; I was amazed with the results. It's an illuminating one.
The shade Beige Rose is salmon coloured %26amp; that's what make-up artists recommend for dark circles under the eyes %26amp; altho' at first it looks a different colour to your skin, after a little while it really blends in well %26amp; hides the dark circles really well.
If you have really pale skin, I'd buy buy the Beige Claire though.

I use collection 2000 concealer in light. It is my life saviour! It matches my pale skin perfectly and there are also other shades too, so you bound to find something to match ur skin tone. The best thing is it is 拢1.95. Cheaper sometimes means better :D xx

Should u wear concealer or foundation first??????
i am so confused i usually put on foundation then concealer, but ive heard this is wrong! so plz helpShould u wear concealer or foundation first??????
It depends on what you are covering up. Applying concealer first is fine. However, some blemishes are too dark or severe that once you apply your foundation, you may find that you accidentaly rubbed off the concealer. Thus, some people like to apply concealer afterward. I like to apply concealer first, then foundation, and then concealer again for touching up and blend everything to create an even skin tone. Good Luck!Should u wear concealer or foundation first??????
Apply to problem areas the lightest possible coat of concealer first (use a sponge for the best results) and then foundation but only if you really NEED foundation. Young skin almost always looks better 'bare.' If you have spots, use an acne product like ';Pro-Active'; or see your dermatologist for a prescription to more effective medications. You can get free make-up advice at the beauty products section of your local mall but they always want you to buy a minimum amount of their products in return so check that out first. Good luck!
Put concealer on blemishes and spots then even it out with a thin layer of foundation!! xx
Concealer first, then let it dry completely so the foundation goes on evenly, then use foundation.
If you're having blemish problems, use concealer, thhen use a mineral based face powder....it'll stop the blemishes in the first place.
foundation
first concealer
then foundation to finish the look
Concealer should be applied first-
Put concealer on first - only on areas that need it. Then apply foundation. Don't forget your neck and blend blend blend!
Apply foundation before concealer because if you apply the other way round the foundation will rub the concealer off.
Foundation first then concealer.
you first want to see how much your foundation you will need before applying concealer this way you don't make the mistake of applying too much concealer.
. here is a link for you

u should always wear concealer first wearing foundations first will probably make your eyes look unatural
I usually do that too!...I'm sure it doesn't really matter- when I'm doing a make-up treatment on a client though I put the concealer on first it is the proper way to do it! x
first apply concelar but only to problem areas then the foundation for an even finish.
Concealer first.
Normally it is concealer to cover spots, dark areas ie under eyes. Then foundation.
However I am sure I have seen some makeup artists on telly or read, that you could put the concealer on afterwards as then you really know what will be a problem and what not
conceler for problem skin like spots or blemishes then foundation for an even finish.
I use Ysl Touche Eclat concealer and the girl at the YSL counter said to always put it on after putting on foundation.

Whats better underye concealer; Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage or YSL saint laurent touche eclat?
physician's formula has a great one, for way less moneyWhats better underye concealer; Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage or YSL saint laurent touche eclat?
www.makeupalley.com
on this site they have lotsa product reviews, and people rate the makeup, and if they would repurchase. i've found a lot of stuff from shampoos i've wanted to try to makeup and remedies due to the reviews! and u can find them all by category and brand!!Whats better underye concealer; Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage or YSL saint laurent touche eclat?
I've tried both, and I much prefer Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage. It's the best!
Mercier - her stuff is the best you can find in foundation or concealer. YSL is nice, but just a snob brand. Laura won't let you down.
I'm a YSL fan myself, but either one would work very well. surprisingly there are other brands that will work very well also. I would have never have thought it, but mary kay cosmetics makes a great concealer for the undereye area, and it costs only $9.50 !!! and it really does work. I've used everything from super high dollar cosmetics, to very inexpensive ones, and I find that almost every company has at least a couple of products that stand out as working very well.
Good Luck!
YSL is the number one undereye concealer. so that would be much better

Mac studio sculpt concealer?
Can mac studio sculpt concealer be used for under the eye area?Mac studio sculpt concealer?
I haven't used this specific concealer, but I'd say that the under-eye area is the most popular place to use concealer period, so I imagine the answer is a yes.
I have to edit to say that I went to MAC today and spoke with one of the consultants. She sold me the Studio Sculpt foundation and conceale, and I can now say beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Studio Sculpt concealer is perfectly suitable for under the eyes. I specifically told her I needed a concealer for dark circles and that was the first thing she plucked out to try on me. Just a note though that my shade in the concealer (NC20) was a shade darker than I am with the foundation (NC15) so I'd advise to try it on before you buy =]Mac studio sculpt concealer?

What the best concealer?
I need to know! What the best concealer?
Boi-ing by benefit!
It's an industrial strength concealer!
拢15.50 well worth the money go for it! It lasts ages! What the best concealer?
i use burts bees. it works great. i use it to cover dark circles and a scar on my cheek.
here are my top concealer picks (for different budgets) i have tried and loved them all...they go on easily, offer buildable coverage, stay put, and look fresh...
benefit boi-ing concealer $18 at sephora, 3 shades
merle norman cover up $12 at merle norman, 12 shades
mark perfect touch concealer $5 from mark/avon rep, 5 shades
A big rain coat
A thick brown paper bag with two slits for the eyes usually works wonders!
The best concealers are made by Rimmel.
I don't work for them; I use their products.
Look, find, use.
You know what you want; Rimmel do it.
camouflage paint.
a white lie, just a little one.
Plaster of Paris and a large trowel.
I've shelled out a fair bit for Lisa Watier's 5 shade wheel, it has lasted me ages and is definitely worth the money, I would have spent at least the same on other concealers while I have been using this. It's great cos you can blend your own colour and cover red spots, dark circles etc, and you don;t need to buy loads of shades to match your tan in the summer.
You can get it from www.myvanitycase.com

I would go to MAC and get the studio fix fluid spf 15 because it really works and its kind of pricey, like 16 dollars, but it is worth every penny.Good drug store concealer?
L'oreal Touche Magique is amazingg
it comes in a click-pen like Touche Eclat, its a total mirror of it! but only costs about 拢5 (duno what that is in dollars)

Best brand of concealer for sensitive skin? Not too expensive pls.?
I wear bare minerals and I love it! is really breathable, clean makeup. I wear it to bed even. It really seems to have a hefty price tag but it's not as bad as it seems. It usually runs about $25. But it will last for atleast 6 months. you may also be able to find a starter kit that comes with brushes and everything. here's a website: http://www.bareminerals.com/ but you can also buy it at stores like Ulta. good luck!Best brand of concealer for sensitive skin? Not too expensive pls.?
Clinique works well for me, they have lots of items to choose from for sensitive skin... And have great gifts once in a while... Always stuff you can use... As far as price, it is reasonable and the quality is worth the extra dollar...

I have a concealer and luminiser pencil.my Q is what should u use the luminiser for?for what areas i mean?
I'm guessing a luminiser is like a highlighter. This you can use under your eyebrows to brighten the eyes, along the tops of your cheekbones to highlight them, and in the V in the middle of your top lip.I have a concealer and luminiser pencil.my Q is what should u use the luminiser for?for what areas i mean?
if you have a transparent luminiser, you can use it under your eyes to conceal the bags, or for your T (forehead %26amp; nose bridge) to tone down any shinyness ... or you can use it VERY LIGHTLY for your cheekbones.. it'll help make them higherI have a concealer and luminiser pencil.my Q is what should u use the luminiser for?for what areas i mean?
under your eyes
Under your eyes! It helps with those little dark circles.
ok. Anything that sticks out on your face! (not lips obviously.. lol) like brow bone, cheek bone to make them stand out, some put it on their nose to make more of a bridge. it is the girls best friend. oh and also under your eyes to rid those bags.

Does yellow concealer blend well so that powder does not have to be worn over it?
never use a concealer on its own.Do you have a red face or broken veins, yellow is really good for that, but if you haven't why are you using it?Just use a light powder or foundationDoes yellow concealer blend well so that powder does not have to be worn over it?
tAN DOES NOT YELLOWDoes yellow concealer blend well so that powder does not have to be worn over it?
No! use a concealer that is about one shade lighter than your foundation or powder (that is skin coloered not yellow)
i don't think so...try going to www.physiciansformula.com and look at their green/light concealer. it works very well! the green gets rid of the red, and the skin tone color gets rid of the green! it usually works fine just like that, but my skin is a little darker, so i need some makeup over that, but i was so happy when i first used this stuff!
Mine blends just fine!hair treatment

To cover up breakouts, you use green concealer right?
i have light but not the super pale skinTo cover up breakouts, you use green concealer right?
yes, a green conceler will cover the redness of your pimples, for mostly all skin tones and yours. I suggest http://www.physiciansformula.com/Product鈥?/a>To cover up breakouts, you use green concealer right?
yes, green concealer helps hide the redness. physicians formula is great!
yes the green evens out the redness and it makes your regular foundation work better to cover it up
yes green concealer is great, but it's important to blend it in under foundation, and only on the spots or blemishes, otherwise it will make your face look more pale and your foundation will look lighter in shade.
That's correct. The green concealer conteracts with the redness to hide the acne. Just use the concealer on the blemish directly and not all over. Remember to blend really well so there is even coverage and not cakey.

100% BARE MINERALS!!!
for powder.. cover girl is good or physicians formula. also concealer.. physicians formula is the best ive found. the correction 101, it has a green concealer which cancels out the redness, and then u cover it up with a regular color concealer. for foundation, i like maybelline dream matte. thats all inexpensive but clinique is great if u want to pay more...
the BEST i have ever tried in my life is by NARS. Celebrities use NARS, their foundation, concealer, etc. everything they make for the skin (make-up) seriously looks natural under any light and makes it look like you're not wearing anything at all. The coolest thing about it, the make-up artist that introduced it to me said exactly ';this make-up makes it look like you have pretty skin'; --- in other words it makes it look like you have clear skin if you have blotchiness or blemishes, it really does.... I swear! And you don't even have to put much on! Sephora sells them (NARS), if you have a Sephora in your area. If not, go to an upscale shopping mall where they might sell NARS at department stores. If not, then try Sephora.com. It cost only $45, incase you were thinking it's more expensive than it sounded! (If you get it from Sephora, when you finish your NARS cosmetic all up and need to buy more, just bring the NARS cosmetic container it was in and they will refill it for you and charge you only $35 instead of $45. Neat!
Well there is a proffessional makeup line called prescriptives. It won't clog your pores and its got spf, and the best part is that they will make your exact shade right there in front of you. its alittle pricey around sixty for foundation, but its worth it.
use glo minerals. you can get it online and it workds really good for that type of skin
Body shop is great. its make up is of good quality and non-irritant on ur skin.
the price is equally good, so go for it.
and since its using community products like cocoa, tea-tree, coconut, etc for any thing that u buy, a small % of the money goes to the preservation of these products in their countries of origin. so u'll b helping by buying body shop products
hmm i think clinique is your best bet. they can really help you choose what is best for your skin tone and type.

(girls)strong concealer for undereye circles?
from time to time i get dark circles under my eyes, and although ive tried a lot of concealers for them, none of them seem to be strong enough. they just kind of sit on top. any suggestions for a good, strong concealer?! thanks! :)(girls)strong concealer for undereye circles?
Yves St Laurent ';Touche Eclait'; is the best product on the market...a bit pricey but worth every penny. When it first arrived in the UK there were queues outside the chemist shops to buy it! Tested recently on ';How To Look Good Naked'; and was far superior to all other brands. Apply it lightly,a little goes a long way, drink plenty of water and get some early nights.(girls)strong concealer for undereye circles?
hi,
as a make up artist, i've used a lot of different products, and i can't stress this too much, try not to rub or pat too much when you apply. The very best, and strongest concealer i've used, and would recommend is made by Playboy cosmetics, in light/medium. It works well, and covers almost any dark circles or belmishes. the other option is to apply foundation from under the cap of the bottle (this is dryer and thicker), then dust lightly with loose powder to hold it there.
The perfect thing to use is cocoa butter stick, cheap and it works great. just put it under your eyes every night before you go to bed and you will see a change. Plus it will keep your skin healthy.

Maybelline mineral power concealer or covergirl concealer works good. I'm not sure how much they are, but they're around your price range.

CoverGirl foundation / concealer causing cancer?
Is it true that foundation and concealer can cause cancer?
One of my organic hippie friends told me to stop using products like that.CoverGirl foundation / concealer causing cancer?
Typical organic hippie. Unless you're applying some kind of nuclear make-up to your face, don't worry about it.CoverGirl foundation / concealer causing cancer?
No... not unless they're radioactive. Don't sweat it.
No it does not
but it is still horrible for your face
you shouldnt wear cheap makeup.
they also do horrible animal testing
find a new foundation
nope i dont think so
i mean i wouldnt kno but somebody would have to show me some real proof before id believe it ( =
If Peta is sooooo worried about animal testing of cosmetics, they themselves would stop killing the animals they say they love so much.
http://www.petakillsanimals.com
Cover girl works just as good as the more expensive lines of concealers, as long as your not allergic.
That isn't true. You shouldn't use their products because they test on animals. Check labels to see what companies test on innocent animals. Stop using products that test on animals.
LMAOOO! boy, are you gullible.
Yes. Everything causes cancer. Water, air, dirt, cows, pigs, cats, dogs, chocolate, wine, cheese, boyfriends, girlfriends, rollerskates and jelly beans. Everything has the potential to cause cancer. I don't know why. I say enjoy and wear your makeup. Just stay away from the jelly beans.
if that was proven, and for real, the FDA would have the product pulled/removed from shelves and Cover Girl prolly wouldn't exist cuz they would have no more money from being sued.
wow ive never heard that one b4...i dont think it is true tho

The only way 2 have that no make up feel is 2 only wear a certain amount like a thin layer of conceler and use a brush for the powder and do briskly so not to add 2 much s it still
feels heavy just use the conceler

Are you supposed to put foundation or concealer on first?
depends what kind of foundation...
liquid foundation.. you put concealer after
powder foundation.. you put it before.. ^_^Are you supposed to put foundation or concealer on first?
FOUNDATION!Are you supposed to put foundation or concealer on first?
dear..
foundation is ALWAYS first!
the reason is because if u apply it after the concealer, you will smudge all the concealer off, and it will be like if it was never there.
First apply ur found., then concealer on the imperfection spots. Then, tap the spot with ur finger... dont do it too hard because it will smudge.
=]
It depends on what you are comfortable with and what you prefer. If you are using a liquid or cream foundation and a liquid or cream concealer, it is probably best to use foundation first and then use concealer after because if you put concealer first, when you apply the foundation, it can wipe off the concealer so it is best to apply concealer after foundation in this case. But if you are using a powder foundation, apply concealer first and then the powder foundation.
Overall, it all depends on what works for you and what your preference is.
Good Luck, I hope this information helped *_*
I always put foundation first because if I put concealer on first, after I apply my foundation with my brush, the concealers pretty much rubbed off... so I put foundation on which offers some coverage to begin with, go over my troubled spots with concealer and then set everything with powder so that they all don't melt off my face haha.
FOUNDATION FIRST.
it covers up the acne enough and then you put on the concealor to get the spots that didn't get completely covered.
you could easily use your stick of concealer up SO FAST if you do it first.
Foundation because it evens out your skin tone and if it doesn't cover everything then that is when you put concealer on.
concealer around eyes hidding discoloration bags etc.... then on the rest your face like blemishes, pimples, broken capillaries.... then is foundation and maybe a light powder to matte it...but be careful cuz the last 2 steps can make it you or make your ';face';
It's a preference thing. I put concealer on my dark circles before I put on my foundation. Then I put foundation on and whatever my foundation doesn't completely cover, that's when I put the concealeron, then I set it w/ powder and it looks natural.
What comes first the foundation of a house or the roof. Hope this helps in a smart *** way.
Its tottally up to you girl, there is no right or wrong...I put concealer on some of my acne spots, and under my eyes..then i put on the foundation to cover it up

Does the concealer hide fine under-eye lines?
no..
but there's a new product which is a concealer and lifts at the same time im not sure if it's loreal or lancome..
anyways my advice to you is to use Actice C from la roche posay, in a month u will see those lines disappearing...
good luck!Does the concealer hide fine under-eye lines?
concealer only hide he darkness under your eyes...to get those fine lines to disappear you can try anti-wrinkle eye creams...or some Botox...Does the concealer hide fine under-eye lines?
Dark under eye circles can be caused by fatigue, poor circulation, extra-thin skin under the eyes, hyper-pigmentation, illness or allergies. Treating the cause will help keep dark circles from coming back. In the meantime, consider the following cover-up tactics:
Instructions
STEP 1: To hide dark under eye circles, select a cosmetic under-eye concealer that's one shade lighter than the foundation you're using. STEP 2: Understand that a pale yellowish concealer helps hide blue or grayish circles, while a light blue or mauvish concealer masks brownish under-the-eye bags. STEP 3: Begin with a freshly washed and exfoliated face. Dab concealer under your eyes gently, using a soft circular motion. STEP 4: Apply foundation up to the concealer and blend the two shades together gently, using a circular motion to cover dark under eye circles. STEP 5: Finish with a dusting of untinted face powder for a polished, seamless look. Tips %26amp; Warnings
Avoid concealers containing oils, because the oil will settle into the fine lines under your eyes and draw attention to the circles.
When using a cosmetic under eye concealer, wearing foundation is a must to avoid the ';white mask'; look.
Never use an over-the-counter facial and body cream bleach under the eyes to eliminate dark circles. Use only prescription creams administered under a doctor's supervision.
Always apply concealer gently--rubbing can cause swelling, redness or bruising of the under eye area.
Overall Tips %26amp; Warnings
Do make efforts to discover the cause of your dark under eye circles. Are you getting enough sleep? Are you healthy? Consider allergies; they can cause ';allergic shiners'; when untreated.
Talk to a dermatologist about prescription bleach creams for chronic dark circles.
Ask your doctor about vitamin-A derivative creams and in-office chemical peels that might help lessen the darkness of your circles.
Consider buying a pair of cosmetic-only eyeglasses if concealer doesn't work for you. Pick out rims that rest right over the dark circles.

If any one knows of a super concealer, or any creams to help reduce blue circles under the eye then please help me, i cant wear my shades all the time.I need to find an under eye concealer for my holiday, waterproof, crackproof, smudgeproof, long lasting.?
There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.
http://www.mydarkcirclesblog.com/2006/11鈥?/a>
If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water %26amp; stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath %26amp; let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K %26amp; Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

Maybelline Age Rewind concealer works well for under eye dark circles as well as small wrinkles. Apply it with a small brush then dust with face powder to set. This is the only brand I've found that doesn't smear or wear off too quickly. Report Abuse

Best concealer for acne?
I have both acne and acne scarring. I have very fair skin, so they are extremely noticeable. I was wondering if you knew of any concealers that work good for acne and have natural looking coverage? Preferably that you can get at a drugstore, please.Best concealer for acne?
Stilla, it hides your acne while getting rid of itBest concealer for acne?
try clearasil acne tint. it comes in a skin tone shade that hides and helps acne. neutrogena spot treatment is also good just but a light layer over your face and be good to go!
TRU-BLEND
Remember to blend it in completely not rub or cake.
And then add in as needed
try a green- tinted conclear it is like magic when it comes to covering up redness. also try using the green tinted conclear along with normal conclear. anything will work along with the green. hope this helps :)
neutrogena works well
Same problem right here.
I use Almay Clear Complexion Makeup for oily skin.
It doesn't clog your pores, and if anything it's good for your skin!
I use it and it looks very natural.
You can buy it at drugstores too, and it's relatively cheap.
I hope I helped!
:)
hmm i dont know any but when you get one dont forget to put on s good moisturiser with low oil in it before putting on the concealer cos it helps to even it out and helps with the acne and helps in preventing the concealers oils to block pores and create pimples
i also have very fair skinn, i use neutragena, its in a stick, its my savior :)
a paper bag
Black paint for sure.

Which concealer is best ?
I want to know what concealer the BEST for covering dark circles and blemishes the most.Which concealer is best ?
I use Merell Norman products they work great they are a little more expensive but worth it. If you go in there they will match the one to your face and you can put it on and make sure you like it before you buy it for no chargeWhich concealer is best ?
MAX Factor makes a water activated foundation that in order to apply it you need to have a damp wedge and it works amazing. It has a very nice smooth look, and hides any and everything! I feel like its costume makeup without all the greasy, heavy, caked on feeling. And it stays on, as i wear it out to the bars all the time and my face still looks good when I come home. And its also for a woman on a budget! Cant beat it! Check out the site below and take a look at it.
I Use Rimmel Hide The Blemish. It's Sold In Most Boots Stores Across Britain. Unless You're Not British..

I use a natural concealer by Burt's Bees and it works surprisingly well, and isn't full of chemicals. It isn't sticky and is quite affordable.
I once used Almay blemish wand that totally hid my blemishes! I would suggest a concealer that is natural and made up of minerals and no oil, so it doesn't clog up your pores.

What concealer would you recommend?
I have light brown skin. What concealer would you recommend?
I would try avon's ideal shade concealer stick it is my favorite and even comes with a great brush to make sure you don't miss anything.
Hope this helps! What concealer would you recommend?
I'd go with a department store brand if you are looking for some good payoff. All the drugstore ones I find are usually too cakey,or don't have enough coverage. Also in the department store, they will find the true color for you, so no guess work.
I use Nars it has a really nice constancy and covers very well.
Bare Escentuals.
bare esentuals...
easy to apply, good coverage, looks flawless
costs $18... lasts a LONG time because you only need a very tiny amount

Can you use blush as a concealer?
i was wondering if i could just use powder blush and nothing else to cover my acne. i dont have any more foundation or concealer, and i have to sing live today infront of a big audiance very soon. i cant go out and get any because i dont have enough time. can anyone tell me how to cover acne with using JUST powder blush???Can you use blush as a concealer?
no if you used blush your whole face would look pink, and red. that wouldnt be good.just stop before you sing and get some and put it on
also you should really try bare minerals-its at sephora and its amazing. Can you use blush as a concealer?
NO,NO Powder blush is for high lighting your check bones! You can use concealer!
If you have any yellowish or goldish eye shadows, you could try using that instead. Yellow and green tone down the look of red -- I wouldn't suggest green on your cheeks though. Maybe you even have a beige or tan eye shadow you can try.
blush is pink
You Can't Use Blush On Skin Thats Already Prone To Redness, Otherwise It Will Only Make Your Skin Look More Red.
If You Have No Time, Use Some Cold Cream, And See If You Could Borrow A Concealer From A Friend. But Make Sure You Wipe It Off Before You Apply Some To Your Face.
I Hope This Works For You. ';Good Luck';.
No. Just go without if you can't get your hands on any powder/concealer/foundation in your skin tone.
i wouldnt recommend it.
If you need something to take the redness out of specific acne spots, take an aspirin tablet and crush it, then mix just enough water with it to make a paste. Then dab it on your face where you need it most. Putting blush all over could make your acne worse.
You can't. It would make you acne look larger and redder.
Can't you just borrow some or I know! you can mixe it with water and whet ever is left of your powder an d try that!
Uhm, how to? Considering that blusher is pink/coral/orange?
I'd say do without and go natural. Applying blusher might work against you and highlight your acne instead of concealing it. Sorry dear!
not a good idea
your face would look red
:[
i'm sure someone you know will let you borrow some
and i agree with the girl who said to try bear minerals
its amazing
Yes, it its close to your skin.
To cover acne just using powder blush... go out and get and get a concealer brush, for compression and pigmentation.
If its a bronze color and not really pink. I'd think you could mix it with a bit of water or mixing medium if you have any. Lotion could hold it on too. Good luck. %26lt;3
if there is any color to your blush, it is going to draw attention to your acne. I would wear blush on the apples of your cheeks, enjoy the time singing, and not worry about concealer right now. You don't have time for it.
Oh dear. Well, if you have any Visine eye drops (or really any eye drops) now is the time to bring 'em out! Put some on wherever you have blemishes and acne- it will help tone down some of the red. Also, if you have a powder, apply that evenly all over. Sorry, but that's all I got for you- now is no time to go around experimenting to see whether or not your eyeshadows will help conceal anything (an excellent tip, but considering the amount of time you have left, skip this for now- experiment later). And I really hate to tell you, but you want to leave the blush- the red tones in the blush (even if your blush isn't specifically red, it will have some such tone in there) will only emphasize the redness of your spots. And we really don't want to look like our entire face is covered in acne- trust me, that's exactly the kind of effect that people from far off in the auditorium get. So go with a clean face- your natural flush will look much more beautiful and charming.
Good luck and hope this helps :)

Red blotch chheks what coverup or concealer should be used to hide them>>?
I agree with most of the ladies here, Bare Minerals is wonderful, but you can use a concealer with a green base before you put on the concealer to counteract the redness. But, you may also have a skin condition that people over 20 get called ';rosacea'; (pronounced rose-A-sha). You may also want to try a lotion by Aveeno that calms your skin with soy and oatmeal products. But I would seriously consult a dermatologist to really get to the root of your situation, k? Take care!Red blotch chheks what coverup or concealer should be used to hide them%26gt;%26gt;?

Eucerin Redness Relief Daily Perfecting Lotion, SPF 15. Try this product. I tried this after using a hair removing lotion that left me with redness and it worked well. They also have a whole line just for redness of the skin. I would suggest a product like this rather just makeup to cover it up. Also there is a skin condition whose name i can't recall right now, but maybe u should also look into talking to your doctor.
powder is really good to cover up red spot. I use cover girl its really good.
You might want to try a mineral powder foundation. One that I love and will never give up is Bare Escentuals. It is the best to cover up redness and breakouts.
You can get it at http://www.qvc.com
Estee lauder double wear foundation covers almost anything, esp. blotchy red cheeks, plus it stays on for hours and hours!!
Check out the clinique web site..

you will be suited up with the best concealer type for your skin.

Is foundation the same thing as concealer?
foundation is to even your skin tone and concealer is to conceal flaws, blemishes, age spots, scars, etcIs foundation the same thing as concealer?
concealer offers more coverage, it is put on in a slightly lighter shade under the foundation. i use bare minerals make-up, the foundation doubles as a spot concealer for minor imperfections. Is foundation the same thing as concealer?
no..it's usually a little heavier than foundation...or I guess better put, concealer has more pigmentation, concentrated color I guess it could be described, than foundation. It's only meant to use in certain areas that you need a little more coverage.
No. Concealor is a thicker formula applied after foundation to cover any blemishes or skin pigmentation problems on your face. Foundation goes on first to even out your skin tone.

What the best under eye concealer that won't cost me the earth?
Touch Eclat by YSL is good, No7 in Boots do a very good similar product half the priceWhat the best under eye concealer that won't cost me the earth?
I'm also still trying to figure that out. What will help is drinking alot of water and getting a good nights rest. I use cheap concealer from the drugstore and It works good. I suggest trying the cheaper brands first as one might work for you. Good luck! What the best under eye concealer that won't cost me the earth?
I think that MaryKay's highlighting pen is really great for under the eyes. It's a little pricey, but really good. If you don't like that then they have regular concealers too! I also like Maybelline and MAC. I hope this helps!
xo tinkerbell xo
rimmel if you want a cheap yet good concealer or mac if you want the best concealer EVER!!! yes its a little pricey but i love it :)
There's a pretty good one from Maybelline that's a mustard yellow color (the universal color for under the eyes) that is fairly affordable in most areas.
Go into your local Boots or Superdrug store. There are a range of cheaper brands aimed at teenagers, that are cheap and still work great! Try Miss Sporty, 17, Boot's Natural Collection or Maybelline. They range in price from £1.99-£5
Benefit are amazing for products, pick up a mini catalogue from boots or selfridges they have lots to choose from.
body shop does a great one at very affordable price
itried a sample at 'benefit' and even though it is abit expensive it was really lovely to wear! i asked for it for xmas! x
i agree withYSL, it's superb!
Make sure you buy in a colour either lighter or perfect match though.
touch eclat is good as a touch highligher (translate darlings), but not for hiding dark circles. i use bobby brown.
good tip though - dab on eye gel before you put on the concealer it'll go on smoother with less drag.
I quite like the ones from:
Boots Botanics
Tesco make-up
Rubie %26amp; Mille (they have a dual tone so you can get a closer shade)
Yves Saint Laurant, Touche Eclat, it dosent really cost the earth but its worth the earth if you have dark circles under your eyes!
Mary Kay
Mary Kay. They have two different ones... Concealer and Facial Highlighting Pen. The concealer is great for undereyes as well as blemishes and the tube will last you 9 months or so! The facial highlighting pen is great for undereyes and brightens the whole area, so its really great if your undereyes are really dark.
boots no 7 have a great one.
you need to try boeing by Benefit, it costs around £14 but it is the concealer of miracles,
But all concealers and makeup work differently on different skin, so maybe best to go to the shop and try before you buy.
hey,
i always use Boots 17 concealer as it's dead cheap (£2.25 i think)which is always good as a student! i like it as it doesn't make your skin greasy as I found with Rimmel. YSL is also really good as I treated myself and it definitely does the trick to shift those black circles under your eyes!
have fun
avon have the best cosmetics in my opnion and they are very reasonable and have been proven to work avon.uk.com
MAC is very good concealer. I have major dark circles, and it really works. I use the stick and the liquid wand one for extra coverage. I think they're $14, which may be expensive, but I think they're a deal. They last forever, and, like I said, they really work. There's also some base that you put on before you put on the concealer. It'll cost more, but some workers will give you a free sample of it.
One that I really like is Physicians Formula concealer stick. One end has the yellow cream and the other has a nude cream. Its pretty inexpensive and you can find it at any drug store. Its a really good brand. You can find the mineral makeup too in that brand fairly cheap as well.
I would try this one out though. It works good enough for me. Just put the yellow on and blend it in really well then put the nude color over it and blend and it should look good!

What is the best undereye concealer??
heyy! well, i have dark bags under my eyes. i have a concealer, but its not good at ALL for under eyes. so just tell me what you think i should use. also, i need something to make the bags go away! no, spoons don't work. thanks! What is the best undereye concealer??
simple tricks to getting rid of dark circles and bags!
if your concealer isn't working for you, and i know what you're going through, (i've been there for the longest time until recently!) try getting a concealer that is 1-2 shades ligheter than your skin colour and apply it where the circles are. then apply a concealer that is the same shade as your skin. after you apply your powder it should not be visible at all, and even if it is, it won't be noticable anymore.
it doesn't really matter what concealer you use, i use the lighter shade in neutragena and the darker shade in MAC. try these tricks with some lesser expensive brands and if it works, move on up to a better brand that will go on smoother, with more coverage.
as for bags, try highlighting underneath them. this will help reflect light and make them appear less noticable or nonexistant. try benefit's highlighting stick, works pretty well for dark places and blend with a brush.
apply foundation as usual. try a higher coverage foundation like MAC's studio tech. works wonders! set with translucent/blot powder.
if your dark circles and bags are serious and makeup and makeup tricks do not help what so ever, go to your doctor and ask about them and go about it another way.
good luck! What is the best undereye concealer??
i use clinique
ive been using revlon colorstay under eye concealor

I LOVE Mary Kay Full Coverage concealer.. it's the only thing that actually works for me, and I always have dark circles. Everything I bought in the stores didn't work at all ! You can get this for cheap ($7-12) on ebay! ;)
bobbi brown, or covergirl stick corrector works wonders and its cheap

Where can I buy green concealer??
Is there a certain brand thats better than others?Where can I buy green concealer??
Personally, I like the Physician's Formula green concealer. It comes in a stick that looks simliar to lipstick. You can find it in the cosmetics section at your local Target or Wal-Mart. It works well for covering up scars, blemishes, and acne.Where can I buy green concealer??
Physicians Formula is the place to go to for inexpensive, good quality, and non-irritating, non-comodegenic products. I love their line of color-correcting concealers and here are a few that you can choose from depending on the coverage and formula you want:
Physicians Formula Concealer Twins Cream Concealer 2-in-1 Correct and Cover (SPF 10) - $8. This stuff is transfer and water resistant and comes with yellow concealer on one end and green on the other. It is a creamy liquid.
Physicians Formula 4-1 Concealer Palette $9: It has a bit more colors to choose and blend with, plus a green cream concealer that you can dab on to any pimples or redness.
Powder Finish Concealer Stick (SPF 15) $6. This stuff comes in a ';lipstick tube'; but is oil free and offers a green concealer that sets to a powdery finish.
I highly recommend that you use the Physicians Formula line as these are affordable and effective.
For more options however, you can try these more expensive alternatives, which offer a different coverage than the Physician's Formula line:
*Bourjois Lovely Base Redness Corrector $21: it is a semi-fluid green-tinted base that can be applied all over the face like a foundation or on specific targets of the skin. It will reduce discoloration and imperfections all over and contains pigments that reduce shine, imparting a smooth, satiny finish.
5 Camoflage Cream Palette No. 1 by Makeup Forever Profssionals - only at Sephora - $36. This compact contains 5 color correcting shades such as yellow, beige, and green, and can conceal all sorts of discolorations such as undereye circles, acne scars, redness, veins, etc.
Anyways, good luck and defintely go to walmart and check out the Physicans Formula line
I really like Physicians Formula - you can find it at Wal-Mart or any drugstore.
Try Save-on or CVS Pharmacy. I have seen them there. Also, RiteAide.
there are many brands that make green concealer. try this one, i heard it works good, plus it's gotten many reviews.

there are many brands that make green concealer. try this one, i heard it works good, plus it's gotten many reviews.

Concealer making face appear oily?
I use this type of concealer (I suppose it's concealer I dunno exactly) made by Wet n' Wild called Cover All. It's like a little stick thingie that kind of looks like lipstick except it's used to cover and hide imperfections and things of that nature. I have been using it for about 2 or 3 weeks now to cover up some bad spots on my face (from acne mostly) and every single time I put it on, about an hour later my face appears VERY oily. I sometimes have to pat my face down with a paper towel to remove the oil, but it comes back in no time. This is of course a problem and makes me look horrible. Is there any way I can prevent this and still use the product? Do all concealers do this? I really like the product other than this problem.Concealer making face appear oily?
try bare minerals by bare escentuals. you can use the foundation to conceal trouble spots, then use over the whole face to even out your skin tone. this make-up works for all skin types, and doesn't clog pores. wet n'wild probably makes you break out even more.Concealer making face appear oily?
Wet'n'Wild is good for pencils but when it comes to foundation or concealer I highly suggest you use a better brand because with makeup you truly get what you pay for. I know that Covergirl and Almay makes good foundations also.
Is your skin oily by nature and the concealer is making it worse? Or is it the concealer that is making your skin appear greasy? If you have oily skin it is important that you use products made for oily skin and are oil-free to avoid any future breakouts. Anything with spf will also make face appear shiny because it is light reflective. But sunscreen is a must therefore you could try powder sunscreen by colorscience.
I highly recommend you try using Bare Escentuals mineral makeup because it is 100% minerals with a natural spf.
Try using oil blotting papers instead of a paper towel to blot your face. Hope this helps
Wet 'n Wild is a horrrrrrrible brand of makeup! It's cheap and the products are made from cheap stuff as well. Their concealer is more than likely oil based. Try switching to a new concealer that's oil-free. Jane cosmetics makes one that's nearly as inexpensive in a squeeze tube that I love. Cover girl also makes some good ones. If you want to go a little mroe expensive, I LOVE Mary Kay's oil free concealers!
The concealer is not the problem. You need to attack your oily skin aggressively. While many say that soap and water are counterproductive...try using three times a day...and lay off the make-up for awhile. REMEMBER... You see yourself much less kindly than others do. If you are clean and smell lovely... and have a wonderful smile and joy in other people... you will be beautiful! Hugs, Gina C. p.s. Wet and wild is VERY cheap make-up. Try CoverGirl or L'Oreal. They are fairly inexpensive and have better ingredients.
I would use a powder concealer over it to reduce shine and to blend in the stick concealer. This is a 2 in 1 deal. It works for me.

What's a good cheap concealer?
One that I can find at a local drug store, and is good for dark undereyes.
Thanks!What's a good cheap concealer?
I just saw this on TV. Some all natural deal but can't remember the name of it.
Unfortunately I can only remember Alissa Millano which is the reason I stopped on that channel. What's a good cheap concealer?
the best concealer if ur on a budget is wet n wild. They're only 1.99!! and it comes in a stick. CHose ur shade and apply directly to the skin that u wanna perfect. Then use ur finger to blend. Add foundation if u want to make it look flawless.
no such thing
Maybelline or Cover Girl cover stick. I use it to completely cover a tattoo that I have. Just pat loose facial powder over it after you apply the cover stick.....If it will hide my tattoo, it will hide anything.
from Covergirl. It's about $4. Works like magic!
cover girl is the best
go to your closest rite aid they have a variety of concealers there and there not expensive...try true blend it covers everything
I was using a Clinique heavy-duty concealer that I loved, but they stopped making it. I have been pretty happy with Max Factor's Erase. It was about $5 at Walmart. The plus side to Clinique is that they will help you find a match for you, and you can be sure of what you're buying. Expect to pay around $15 for them. Max Factor is good though. Hope this helps.
i buy maybelline i use a brush to apply it then my finger to smudge it in. completely covers it.

get some good concealer from Nordstrom or the Macy's. It is more expensive, but it will last a long time and work better. i suggest Lancome.
Brown bag over your head, woudln't cost a cent.

Im looking for a new concealer and mascara... suggestions?
So i am looking for a new liquid concealer, and also a new mascara. I was wondering what makeup people would reccommend. Also i wanted to try the pulsating mascara (the one that vibrates or something) but it is like 12 dollars... has anyone tried it? is it worth it?
thanks!Im looking for a new concealer and mascara... suggestions?

For the liquid concealer. Go for a brand like Cover Girl, Maybelline, Mac, or Loreal
MAKE UP FOREVER LIQUID CONCEALER. i wouldn't try it just because it is something new and barely any one tries it.
and lash blast by covergirl.
i cant tell you much about concealer, sorry
but mascera i know about.
the very best one iver tried was the lash blast in the fat orange tube. the second best would have to be cover girls one in the yellow and purple tube
remember the mascara is not nearly as important as the application so give it two good coats and dont forget the bottom lashes
vibrating mascara is all bark and no bite. it sucks. but, i use avon liquid concealer and avon SUPERSHOCK mascara. i'm not an avon rep i'm just an avon junkie cause i love their make-up! it's like mac, but it costs less than half as much! i order it from here:

Whats the best kind of concealer? ... please help?
i really need a good concealer that works! and doesn't make anything look caky!!!
i was thinking about Almay smart shade !??? but is it good?
thank you sooooo much ! in advanced
any other good concealers? that arent over 10-15$Whats the best kind of concealer? ... please help?
Mary Kay makes great clean feeling fondations and powders. They come in three different types depending on the oilyness of your skin so it helps keep the breakouts down too! You can visit the website and have it sent to you. It runs about 14 dollars a tube but will last you a long time and is way worth it!!Whats the best kind of concealer? ... please help?
my favorite is clinique line smoothing concealer it works so well i love it and they have tons of shades for every skin tone you are i got mine for 11.00 dollars but it say 14.00 on the website
I personally adore Touche Eclait, it really works for me but is slightly out of your price range.
There are lots of great options out there. I personally don't use Almay, just because it seems to wear off pretty quickly and I need makeup that LASTS! For literally $1.99 Wet n' Wild has a great concealer. (I know. Normally I would NEVER recommend Wet n' Wild, but the concealer really is the best product they make.) For less than $10, you can get Physician's Formula Mineral concealer, and it goes on smooth and lasts. Revlon Barely There works well too. If you have a little more money to spend, anything you get at the Clinique counter or the MAC counter will be great. Both brands have various different concealers, several of which i have tried, and they have all been great.

Concealer for the under eye area?
well i have horrible dark circles under my eyes and theyre genetic does anyone know a really good concealer and how to use it so i get the maximum coverge? thanx@otConcealer for the under eye area?
yellow maybaline concealer in the lip stick like tube.Concealer for the under eye area?
There are a couple of answers to this:
*if you are looking for maximum coverage but a clean almost natural look, my favorite is MAC. Its in a tub, not a tube, so you need a make-up sponge to apply. The make-up sponge will soak up the excess color and help you blend.
*if you are looking for maximum coverage and a high glam look, check out Maybelline if you are on a budget, or Lancome if you are not. Estee Lauder is another good option. These brands have a three in one kit, one option is to lighten the area and then apply color, another option is to reduce any redness and the last is just your complexion color.

Whats a good foundatioon/concealer?
like i hate it when you can tell when people are wearing makeup. im totally for the natural look so are there any good foundation and concealers out there that are virtually invisible? (as in they work but no one can tell your wearing makeup, just looks natural)Whats a good foundatioon/concealer?

mineral powder
u should totally google Dinair Airbrush Makeup..its all water based so its not bad for ur skin and it makes u look like u have naturally flawless skin. it just evens out ur skin tone and takes away any redness. Its awesome...ive been using it for 2 years and ive never been happier with makeup!! hope i helped...=)
IF YOU GO TO MAC, THEY HAVE A REALLY GOOD CONCEALER AND FOUNDATION. IF YOU TURN OUT TO LIKE IT, THEN YOU SHOULD TRY THEIR MINERALIZE SKINFINISH NATURAL. IT GIVES YOU A COMPLETELEY NATURAL LOOK! MAC IS PRICEY BUT IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT.
I have super-sensitive skin, so I have to be careful. I've found that Almay's concealer is all I need. I really don't wear make-up unless I dress up, but when I do, Almay has worked well for me. I just dab on the Light 100 (yellow tube) and blend it in with my finger or with a Q-tip. They generally run $7-10.
If you look something natural, you should try a mineral foundation. It is the best of this job.Hope to be helpful.
Origins has great make up
Have u tried poop?
cover girl whipped foundation works really well. You just have to make sure you have the right tone to match your skin. it doesn't even feel/look like your wearing make up. you can buy it at target, wal mart, CVS, etc.
If you have a lot of flaws on your skin and you want to use only one product to achieve that flawless look, I suggest using a concealer as a foundation. Try Full Cover concealer from Make Up For Ever.
Olay do a good moisturiser whish is called ';touch of foundation';, which is coloured like a foundation but doesnt look like you've got it caked on. Or alteratively you could try out the foundation I have which is Rimmel 16 hour stay - http://www.rimmellondon.com/US/products/face/product.aspx?id=323

How Do You Apply Concealer?
???How Do You Apply Concealer?
Concealer can be applied under or over foundation (as long as your foundation/concealer colors are a close match). I apply my foundation first to even out my skin-tone and then use concealer to hide any imperfections that are still visible.
Use a small, fine-tipped brush and place small dots of concealer on the pimples, dark circles, etc. that you want to hide.
Take a small makeup sponge and blend the concealer by dotting the area back and forth with the sponge (don't pull or rub your skin).
Set the concealer/foundation with loose powder and you're ready to go!How Do You Apply Concealer?
After foundation and before powder. And only where needed. Use your finger (always wash hands before touching face) Or use a blending brush. But it's my preference to use my fingers.
Use a concealer brush (you can buy one at Sephora) or use your finger and dab it only on the really problematic spots. Blend with your finger and then put regular foundation over it so it blends with the rest of your skin. Good spots to put concealer include pimples, undereye circles, and white/blackheads.
Use concealer on clean moisturized skin, for me , fingers are the best tools. If you are using a liquid concealer, (they usually come in sponge-tipped wands) 1-2 dots for pimples, 5-6 dots for dark eyelids for top and bottom. pat gently with ring finger to blend.(the ring finger exerts the least pressure) Blend until the lines disappear. Brands to try , Clinique, MAC(tube type). Then brush on some loose powder. Just make sure that the colour matches your skin tone.
Look for concealers that come with sponge tip applicator wands, or buy sponges for the neatest application.
Try puritycosmetics,co,uk. It is really good!
make sure you skin is clean - and mosturised - stops the concealer looking cakey and icky.
also make sure your hands are clean if your going to be putting it on with your finger - i think thats the best way to blend it :) and make sure you have one thats a close shade to your own skin colour - because it could make spots stand out more!
I use Rimmles 'Hide the blemish' its pretty cheap and comes in several shades and i think it works amazingly... better than others ive tried - great for under eye circles too :).

What is a good concealer for me???
I have oily skin even when i wash my face its dry for a while but gets really oily and i have little scars from where i picked my face a while back...sooo any types of concealer that could help and stay on without being blotchy thanks?!What is a good concealer for me???
CGWhat is a good concealer for me???
As a professional makeup artist for over 20 years I highly recommend bee Luscious Cosmetics Liquid Minerals it is truly superb you will not have any trouble at all with it. It will not break you out or make you oily either. Its perfectly balanced. They have samples for 3.00
get MAC studio finish concealer. (the one in the pot, not the stick) and buy yourself a decent brush to apply it with. using a brush makes it much less streaky/blotchy. the brushes mac makes are pretty pricey, but if you get on sephora.com or ebay you can find them cheaper. I use the smashbox concealer brush.
i know u have to get sheer cover concealer it comes with a brush to. just to to www.sheercover.com and order the 29.95 basket that comes with 2 foundations, 3 mineral brushes, and one duo concealer, + one cleanser, one moisturizer, and a eye to lid highlighter...plus much more .to be honest this stuff really works and hides any imperfections and its all healthy mineral make-up all the Hollywood stars use. it also helps signs of aging and SPF. so i recommend sheercover.

oh... OH... THAT kind of concealer.
I was thinking trenchcoat. A trenchcoat works best as a concealer, I find.
As for what you were talking about, my grandmother uses that revlon flesh tone stuff.
Clinique All About Eyes Concealer is really good, it's very good but a bit expensive.
The mineral make up is great if you haven't already tried it, and I really like the concealer.
i use Cover girls smoothers concealer and i love it.
Try Loreal
Cover Girl is ok
Avon products are really good

I have dark blue/purple bags under my eyes and i try to conver them up with concealer but it barely does anything. Is there any kind of cover up/ concealer that works well? A good cover up/concealer? ?
hm.. Mac Concealer i find works the best.
The Studio Finish Spf 35 covers up the best for undereye
It's 20$
you should deffinately try it out, it works amazingly on me.
its very creamy therefore it covers more..
the liquid concealers don't cover up dark areas that well.

Bare minerals. What is the best concealer?
There are a million and one concealers out there and they'll all say that there the best for your skin, but really no one can tell you they best concealer is up to the type of skin that you have like for me i tried tones of different ones and i even paid up to 80 quid for one that was right so i went into boots and had a look at them all i asked one of the helpers and they said matte mouse concealer it doesn't give me spots and it's not expensive
I love the multitasking concealer and foundation from kms mineral essentials. It does wonders for my under eye circles and uneven skin tone. The foundation gives me an airbrushed finish too!

If you use a concealer that doesn't completely match your skin tone, if you use a powder foundation will it
help blend it in? Can you use concealer alone and no foundation? If you use a concealer that doesn't completely match your skin tone, if you use a powder foundation will it
If you can't find a concealer that exactly matches your skin tone, always go one shade lighter. It's easier to blend in than a darker shade.
Once the concealer is on, yes you can (and should) blend over it with your regular foundation.
If the concealer isn't an exact match, then you shouldn't use it alone without the foundation over top. You'll end up with the spot standing out against the rest of your skin. Whatever blemish or imperfection you just tried to cover with the concealer will only stand more as the area will have the tint of the cosmetics when the rest of your face is natural.
If you can manage to find a concealer that is a match for your skin, then you can use it alone, without an additional foundation. But you have to be very careful to blend well, or you'll still end up with that area looking different than the rest of your face.If you use a concealer that doesn't completely match your skin tone, if you use a powder foundation will it
just pat it onto your skin,
its best to wear foundation over your concealer.
I use concealor and then powder to blend it in. The reason that I use powder because I don't want to wear foundation all over my face, only need some on my cheeks. And yes, foundation would help blend everything in. If it matches your skin, that is.
wit concealer go a little bit lighter and wit power go 1 shade darker and use a q tip wit concealer
If you use a liquid foundation you might want to use a power with it too, because i find the liquid found. to be really duey after time and if you use both there will be full coverage.
Yup it will work perfectly and make your skin really flawless too!
Just dont get a concealer thats a way way different colour to the powder..Try and get similar shades so they will look completely flawless.
And yeah i wear concealer on its own because i have really visible lines under my eye so and i dont wanna use a whole load of foundation on my skin, so i just cover up my blemishes wth a generous amount of concealer to look flawless yet natural!

Is the Mary Kay Concealer Good as the MAC Ones?
Overall, buy the Mary Kay one because it works good and is cheaper. The MAC one may be a slightly better quality, but they are all so expensive. Both are good choices, but i would reccomend Mary Kay

What's a good concealer for men?
hi, i've after a good concealer to cover my nose/cheeks due to rosacea. What's a good one that will look natural and not made up? thanksWhat's a good concealer for men?
Try a mineral coverage, as a liquid / cream may not look natural. What's a good concealer for men?
maybeline pure-stay(pressed powder) is cheaper than mineral make up (6-10$) and covers unnoticably like mineral
i dont have rosacea but my pores on nose/ cheeks are sometimes irritated/ red and this covers it right up
if i end up looking made up/ powdery a little bit on lotion over top of the make up gets rid of that problem
good luck : )
My sister said bareminerals was good.
It's not irritating, so it must be okay to be used with rosacea.
She insisted on trying it on my face ( because I have acne).
It doesn't completely make all the imperfections disappear, and magically make your face flawless. *Btw, you do not want flawless. People would notice your wearing make up, if your face is like a freakin doll. Use concealer to tone down the difference of skin tone, not to completely paint your skin*
Anyways, she tried it on me. The acne were still there , but more acceptable.
I did like the effect of it, but the damn thing is so effing expensive. The money wasnt worth it for me.
What I use is a Neutrogena concealer stick thingie. It's about 7 dollars. I do not use it cover my face. I just apply a layer when the pimple is trying to heal and it looks like purple dots on my face.
I personally would never wear make up, but I just feel sorry for people who have to look at me. That said, wearing make up is a little price to pay if you want people to be able to tolerate you when you talk to them.
My answer:
BareMinerals for special occassions.
Any concealer with a good name, that is non-comedogenic. Like Neutrogena, Maybelline etc.
Coastal scents has a really good one- I love it. It's acually made for men and women.
I'll find a link for it....

oh, it's a bronzer... Looks to work the same, but their concealer is also VERY good. also worth a try (and their prices are cheap if yo uwant to try other stuff)
http://www.coastalscents.com/cfwebstore/鈥?/a>
and their powder foundation could cover it as well:

You could get some samples of these and see if they work at all- and which matches your skin best. ^-^
(that way you don't waste a ton of money on stuff that ends up not working, the samples are usually $2)
I'd recommend mineral makeup cuz it's light weight, natural and seamless. i covered a bad pimple on my bro's nose with Everyday Minerals Multi tasking Concealer and nobody noticed when he went to school :P
You can get a free 5 piece set from everydayminerals.com with the exception of shipping which is on $3 that way u don't blow ur money on something ur not sure about :)
Well I really like Bare Escentuals mineral makeup it covers up like a concealer and its very natural people wont even know you have it on and it has great coverage.
sonia kashuk the best one i ever used
you can get it at target for $10
try it out! you wont regret it
i suggest a mineral makeup..i have redness %26amp; rosacea
everyday minerals is a good brand...its mid price..you can order a free sample trail online and only pay shipping costs..see how it suits you
