Should u wear concealer or foundation first??????

i am so confused i usually put on foundation then concealer, but ive heard this is wrong! so plz helpShould u wear concealer or foundation first??????
It depends on what you are covering up. Applying concealer first is fine. However, some blemishes are too dark or severe that once you apply your foundation, you may find that you accidentaly rubbed off the concealer. Thus, some people like to apply concealer afterward. I like to apply concealer first, then foundation, and then concealer again for touching up and blend everything to create an even skin tone. Apply to problem areas the lightest possible coat of concealer first (use a sponge for the best results) and then foundation but only if you really NEED foundation. Young skin almost always looks better 'bare.' If you have spots, use an acne product like ';Pro-Active'; or see your dermatologist for a prescription to more effective medications. You can get free make-up advice at the beauty products section of your local mall but they always want you to buy a minimum amount of their products in return so check that out first. Good luck!
Put concealer on blemishes and spots then even it out with a thin layer of foundation!! xx
Concealer first, then let it dry completely so the foundation goes on evenly, then use foundation.


If you're having blemish problems, use concealer, thhen use a mineral based face powder....it'll stop the blemishes in the first place.

Concealer should be applied first-
Put concealer on first - only on areas that need it. Then apply foundation. Don't forget your neck and blend blend blend!
Apply foundation before concealer because if you apply the other way round the foundation will rub the concealer off.

u should always wear concealer first wearing foundations first will probably make your eyes look unatural
I usually do that too!...I'm sure it doesn't really matter- when I'm doing a make-up treatment on a client though I put the concealer on first it is the proper way to do it! x

Normally it is concealer to cover spots, dark areas ie under eyes. Then foundation.





However I am sure I have seen some makeup artists on telly or read, that you could put the concealer on afterwards as then you really know what will be a problem and what not

I use Ysl Touche Eclat concealer and the girl at the YSL counter said to always put it on after putting on foundation.
