Whats the best concealer?

well, jst wondering what the best concealer is that will stay on all day?

and also, is the 'grace your face' concealer any good?

thanks peeps :)

x oWhats the best concealer?
I've never heard of the 'grace your face' concealer - but I swear by Mary Kay's concealer. Any time I get an occasional imperfection on my face, I dab just a touch (a little goes such a long way!) and it's gone immediately. Covers any red and matches my skin tone perfectly. Stays on all day - doesn't smudge! Let me know if you want to try it... I love Mary Kay products so much, I signed up to be a consultant! Hope this helps!Whats the best concealer?
I second boi-ing from Benefit and also Make Up Forever's concealer palette. It comes with color correctors too so you can be sure to cover up any trouble spots and they're a cream consistency so they provide good coverage. Just remember to set your concealer with powder since it is a cream so it lasts all day.
Concealer is a gimick... it's just a smaller portion of foundation.

Best to just get a thick or clay foundation.

The Thin Lizzy concealer is good though, it's basically foundation.
KRYOLAN

IS THE BEST
Grace your face? What is the brand. Never heard of it.

I like boi-ing from Benefit and Studio Sculpt from MAC.

Do you apply concealer? With fingers or sponge?

I use either my fingers or a brush, not a sponge-it's too big. Your fingers help to warm the concealer up therefore making it go on more smoothly and flawlessly. A brush is more precise and less messy!Do you apply concealer? With fingers or sponge?
Concealer can be a God-send. Applying with a sponge tends to give a better result AND you don't have to worry about transferring anything from your hands to your face!Do you apply concealer? With fingers or sponge?
Fingers
I do it with a concealer brush.
use a sponge becouse with ur fingers it wont be spread into your face as easily and could leave marks. With a sponge it leaves a more natural look. so that the fact that u are wearing concealer is less obvisous
try with the sponge at the begining and use your fingers to remove excess and for difficult areas like around the eyes so as to have it more smooth
im a little more old school im sure but i wet a sponge squeeze it out with a towel then apply my make-up first i spread it around where i want it making an even layer on my face then i pat it so there are no swipe marks or areas where it is too thin then i apply powder some people dont use powder anymore but i prefer it, it seems to give me a smooth clean look oh and i use the least amount of make-up possible so it doesnt get gross through the day
I use my fingers.
either, but the sponge works better.
When I used to do my makeup really thick I used a sponge. But then I grew up and realized that doesn't look very good, so now I just use my fingers. I feel more in control of the coverage that way.
Sponge at the least. Brush is the best.
I apply my concealer with my ring finger. This finger uses the least pressure on the sensitive eye area. Just make sure to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before applying, though.
Depends on the concealer. If it's very watery, I use my fingers. If it's thicker, I use a sponge.
Fingers are great for applying concealer as it warms the concealer causing it to blend better.
i use both, finger apply for a small area, and sponge blend.
sponge. this way i don't put any excess oil on my face or cause more beak outs. it also gives me a more even spread.

Anyone tried that concealer / highlighter by L'Oreal?

Can i put concealer on before putting on bareminerals? ?

idk............

it doesnt cover pimples

but can i put on liquiid concealer and then thee powder?

orr will it look weird??Can i put concealer on before putting on bareminerals? ?
Yes, you can use the concealer under bare minerals. Just make sure you blend the concealer in and make sure it dries first.

You can also try this trick that I use with it...

put some of the foundation on your finger (just enough to cover your finger tip) and dab it on the pimple. It usually covers mine. Can i put concealer on before putting on bareminerals? ?
Here is what you do...

Before putting on bareminerals, take a concealer brush and dip it into the bareminerals foundation. Then use that to cover the blemishes and redness. Make sure that you blend it out a little bit. You don not have to cake it on just enough so that it doesn't look at red. Then buff on the rest of your make up like usual.

That is the best way to cover blemishes while using Bareminerals. Also it will help keep you from breaking out more because of using oily liquid concealers.

Good luck!
Yes, I do it and it works great with my Bare Minerals. I usually put a light light cover of Bare Minerals first and then use Maybelline's Pure Concealer Blemish treatment stick on blemishes or pimples. Afterwards, I put another light coat of Bare Minerals by powdering my face rather then doing swirls to blend in the concealer. Makes all pimples and blemishes disappear like magic!
Hi , I have a lot of redness and broken capillaries and the occasional pimple and instead of using liquid concealer i wet a makeup sponge and dip it in my bare minerals and apply like concealer it works great and blends perfectly hopes this helps then apply my bare minerals foundation
yea, why not, blend it well ( try not too massage it hard , bad for acne ), try not to cake out, after that..hop-la...the powder then. hope it works.

good luck
Blend well and let it dry, or else it will cake.

Bare Escentuals has concealers.

They are usually called multi-tasking powders.

Check them out, they work well with the Bare Minerals line.
why not try it? see if it looks good or not. if they're both your skin tone then i don't see how it could look bad..

How can I make dark undereye circles go away? What are some good concealers/creams? (I'm on a low budget)?

I'm fifteen and I have really bad dark circles under my eyes, how can I make them less noticable? Also, any tips on making eyes look bigger? I have hazel green eyes. How can I make dark undereye circles go away? What are some good concealers/creams? (I'm on a low budget)?
I am not sure if you heard of Bobbi Brown ...some department stores carries her products but she has a wonderful product for under the eye ...it comes in a set ( but one container ) and on her website you click on how to and it shows you the steps to apply it. One is a cream with a yellow base ( because yellow covers ) always remember that ....and then you follow up with a powder that comes with it that you only apply this powder where you applied the creamy concealer ..and when you order or buy this product always get a shade lighter than what you are and you do not apply foundation over it. I am telling you I was amazed with this stuff.....and its $32.00 but a little goes a long way and plus your actually getting two products.....if you can't buy it now then maybe you can save up for it. It is a concealer just for the eyes and it makes them look brighter ..... I am going to see if I can find a video of this so you can see the difference it makes ....

Okay on this page go to the concealer video it is the first one listed I think ......

Hope this is helpful ~~~How can I make dark undereye circles go away? What are some good concealers/creams? (I'm on a low budget)?
mark. cosmetics has a new line of skincare products and the Light Bright hook-up - lighten %26amp; depuff eye gel would be perfect for your concern. The ingredients include cucumber, kiwi %26amp; lotus flower which are all great at targeting that problem area. The reviews so far have been very good. And it is very affordable ($8).

And to cover up the circles, I love mark.'s Speedway ';Do Everything Makeup'; for covering up imperfections. It is a cream-to-powder stick foundation that is perfect to even skin tone. It will help you cover up some of what you don't like, but also leave a natural looking finish.

You can get away with almost anything with hazel eyes. Violets will bring out the green in them for a pop. I love i-mark eye shadows from mark. They have a real deep purple color called Plum Velvet that is really popular. Also, a sparkly brown called Java that is great. The best part is you can experiment and have fun, because they are really affordable. They are $4 each and you can purchase the snap to it pallette in various sizes to hold the eyeshadows.

Check out the link to my mark. e-store in my profile, if you'd like to see the whole mark. line.
Use a green Cover-up ( you can find one @ any store in the makeup aisile), it makes the Rings have less color, then cover that up with a Foundation, and finally put powder over it. Try eating Lots of Veggies, and fruit. :] Get more sleep too.
use a makeup remover because sometimes the makeup you were wearing like the night before or something will add to the dark circles.

most of the time the reason you have those is because of lack of sleep anyways.
For the concealer part I would recomend Collection 2000

stick. Only 拢1.99 avaliable from boots and superdrug. I have complete faith in it.

To make your eyes look bigger I recomend black eyeliner, or black liquid eyeliner.

Good luck!
Olay products are great for the eyes but if you happen to have a CVS in your neighborhood, look for 24.7 products. These are serious products for skin problems and they are all very effective-
theres this face make up i use called

you can buy it at walmart for like $5

it covers everything
Avon has great concealers and creams for dark circles and it wont hurt your budget!

go to www.youravon.com/dgeorge7412
Maybelline Age Rewind concealer works GREAT! It has one end that's a highlighter, and the other end is concealer. It works SO GOOD! Use the highlighter and concealer at the same time!
Olay Eye Regenerists you can get em from http://www.cutpricecosmetics.com there normally 20 quid but they often have them for 7.99
Try MAC concealer...it works really good.

Use a concealer that has benzo-peroxide in it that way you are fighting the pimples while hiding them. Clinique has some products like that.
Bare Minerals in Bisque, it works really good, but make sure you know how to do it, ask the makeup person there.
My opinion I think makeup does not look good if you have to cover up pimples or acne. Why don鈥檛 you try Pro active first. It really works or you can use the CVS Store brand that one works to. Once they are gone you can try using make up if there are not raised scars just to give yourself an even complexion.

Bare Minerals %26amp; MAC are really good brand.
As a professional makeup artist I highly recommend the bee luscious cosmetics brand of foundations and concealers you will be thrilled at the results. WWW.BEELUSCIOUS.COM
I love the multitasking concealer from kms mineral essentials. Not cakey, and it covers everything!

    Best drugstore brand concealer?

For concealer I use mouse matte (Sp?) I use a very light amount around the blemish and grey areas near my eyes. then after that, I just use cover girl liquid foundation and blend it all together and it works just fine. on days when I feel like being really fancy I top it all off by blending with bare essentials mineral veil, but you actually don't have to buy bare minerals for a transluscent veil, you can get tru blend from cover girl, and it's also available from mary kate and ashley, much much cheaper and works just the same. The result of all those foundations together looks awesome and I often get compliments.Best drugstore brand concealer?

my favorite is l'oreal true match foundation. it's the only drugstore brand i wear. it lasts a long time, doesn't make me breakout, and doesn't dry up on my skin.

    Stick or liquid concealer?

What brand of concealer is best for very dark circles under the eyes, and small acne spots on the cheeks. Also, which is better, the liquid or the stick concealer that looks like lipstick. It would be nice if its easy to find and affordable. Please don't recommend M.A.C or Sephora.Stick or liquid concealer?
stick is better for pimples, while liquid is better for undereye circles and other form of pigmentations.

i uses loreal true match concealor. (shades are meant for asians)Stick or liquid concealer?
Dark circles under the eyes (and everything else) YSL Touche Eclat concealer.

Great cover the pimple trick: buy a green tinted concealer, dab it on lightly and cover it with your normal shade concealer (stick or liquid, doesn't matter). The green neutralizes the redness. Chanel makes one or ask at the makeup counter.
Ok hun, I use a stick foundation and its from Benefit. I got it from Macys and it was about $30 but it'll last you a good 10 months. And for concealer, I'd recommend Aromaleigh's Cream Concealer (www.aromaleigh.com -- click on Traditional Cosmetics) and it works wonderfully! http://www.aromaleigh.com/creamconcealer鈥?/a> have it, affordable and great coverage.

    i like powder concealer,,,i use bare minerals mineral veil...and it's awesome = )
    liquid
i do recommend mac and sephora. also channel.

it's the best. and really not too pricey.
    the stick concelar
liquid is better. and cover girl oil free is best its about 3 dollars?
I think the stick is better for spots, and the liquid is better for larger areas. I would try both and see which works better. I don't buy really expensive make-up, though, because that's dumb.

PS; it's not wearing make-up that makes them look like 'they've fallen in sh*t', it's the excessive amount that they use.
I think the stick would be better for ur eyes a

and the liquid for ur cheeks

but if u dont wanna buy both (both is better but..) pick liquid.
ii use stick because it's so easy to carry%26lt;3
I like the stick for undereye circle because I feel that it covers more. And the liquid for blemishes and other facial flaws because it blends more easily. Two drugstore brand I like are Covergirl and Loreal. Covergirl has both a great liquid and stick concealer. I like loreal liquid concealer as well because it matches the skintone to the tee.

    Good brands of concealer?

Anyone know some good brands of concealer for a fair skinned girl with some breakouts? And some tips for putting it on smooth...ive tryed so many different kinds and every kind makes my skin look flakeyGood brands of concealer?
    Almay SmartShade!

I never really cared much about my appeance, so I never really spent much time learning how to use concealers, mascara, eyeshadow, et cetera. When I use SmartShade, though, I get a professional-looking job that I don't have to spend much time blending. I'm usually hopeless with make-up, but SmartShade is the one thing I have found that makes things REALLY easy.Good brands of concealer?
I use rimmel concealer - hide the blemish i think its called in ivory.

It covers reall well and i just blend with either my fingers or a make up sponge......then cover with a light foundatin and face powder
apply with a sponge or brush, and pat on, don't rub. try one of these...

mark invisible touch perfecting concealer $5, 5 shades

merle norman cover up concealer $12, 12 shades

    benefit boi-ing concealer $18, 3 shades
I am a die hard bare escentuals girl! I've always had horrible dark circles under my eyes and after trying what seemed like millions of concealers...this stuff has been a god-send. I have also used it on the redness around my nose and on my chin. The great part is that it is a powder, so it's nice and light. Plus, you can put it on after foundation, so it won't get smeared off by applying before the foundation.

There are a handful of bare escentuals stores around the US, they have a website, and you can get their full line at Sephora. I wouldn't be too worried about ordering from the website because they are super ';blendable'; and if you're at least in the right color range, it will blend with your skin.

    Good luck!
Benefit does an amazing pencil concealer which costs about 拢18 but is worth it because it lasts for ages as you can keep sharpening it. It is called 'it stick' ... fab!
i'm personal extremely pale and i use clinique's one designed especially for spots, it has antiseptic 2 so it reduces the spots while you wear it! amazing stuff!
    rimmel
almay clear complexion concealer is awesome. it helps blemishes while covering them.
I really like neutrogena eye tints for around my puffy racoon-eyes
    Almay makes amazing concealers!

When you apply a concealer instead of rubbing, dab it into your skin! Not only does this give you more coverage, but it also lasts longer and looks better.

    Recommendations for a concealer?

Can anyone recommend a good concealer? I need one that can cover up pimples well (not one for wrinkles), in the drugstore-ish price range (like L鈥檕real or Maybelline, etc.).Recommendations for a concealer?
Neutrogena is a great brand for concealers that cover blemishes and acne. I use this. click on the link. It doesnt come off all day and it heal and shrink my pimples really quick.

    http://www.neutrogena.com/CosmeticsDetai鈥?/a>Recommendations for a concealer?
    Try covergirl TruBlend Liquid Makeup.
I use Rimmel Recover Concealer to just spot on my blemishes and I sometimes use under my eyes. It's $4.99 ( probably even less where you're at) and I agree with you that cosmetics from drugstores can be just as good as cosmetics in department stores. It just depends on what you would rather be spending your money! I hope this helps and it is good stuff. Good luck!
Yikes, drugstore makeup is the very last thing on the planet that i would consider using, personally, only because i break out so easily. I haven't tried any of them myself, but i HAVE tried a concealer from the Philosophy line. Their concealer works great %26amp;covers blemishes perfectly, but a tad on the expensive side if you don't mind spending that much ... Otherwise i think a concealer from a compact should work just fine if you don't have acne-prone skin. It's more concentrated so it can easily conceal whatever you want concealed.
this concealer is not in the drugstore price range that you'd like, but it works really well. Its from mac and its a concealer in a tube, it's like a medium coverage. It hides everything so your face will appear flawless. The price is only $15, but i think it's so worth it, i don't trust the cheap drugstore kinds though. You can go to mac and see if you can get a sample or they can let you try it in their store. I'm sure you'd like it.
Drugstores are probably the worst places to buy make-up. If you go for the crappy price, you're going to get crappy quality..which is probably why you need the concealer. The only drugstore brand I've used and would use again is Neutrogena. Go for Clarins, M.A.C. or Clinique. I've been using M.A.C. make-up for the past 7 years (since age 14) and have always had really great results. It's one of the best kinds of makeup a woman could own.
This isn't actually far from drugstore range and in the end you save money bc it literally last a year. It's by MAC cosmetics it's called M路A路C Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer it's only 14.50 and last about 11-12 months. It's availible at nordstrom. And it stays on all day! Unlike that drugstore stuff you don't have to keep re-applying it. Hope I helped!

Lightweight, creamy, discreetly opaque, M路A路C Concealer provides smooth, long-wearing, invisible coverage for all skin blemishes.

This emollient-based, lightweight concealer is so concentrated that a tiny amount can provide opaque coverage of the skin's imperfections and discolorations. It effectively covers dark circles, blemishes, moles, tattoos and birthmarks. Enriched with antioxidants (derivatives of vitamins A and E), it also contains silica to help adsorb the skin's oils. Concealer has an SPF of 35 and is available in a wide range of colors. It can be applied with a medium to firm fiber brush, a latex sponge or the fingertips.

Whats the best concealer and fooundation and why???

????Whats the best concealer and fooundation and why???
bare minerals by bare escentuals is the best make-up i've found in over 25 years. the foundation can be used to spot-conceal, also. i love this brand, because it covers well, is 100% pure minerals, lasts a long time, and makes me look naturally beautiful. the company has been around for 30 years, has won several awards, and is the only brand recommended by the national skincancer foundation, because it is actually good for the skin, with a natural spf 15. while i love the philosophy skincare line, their make-up looks loke a mask, compared to bare minerals. try it out for yourself at any ulta, sephora, macy's, or nordstrom store, to see, how you like it, before making a decision. the 25.00 foundation lasts me about one year.Whats the best concealer and fooundation and why???
I am addicted to Philosophy's ';The Present';. It's a clear foundation and it makes your skin look flawless. As though it's been airbrushed! I hate slathering brown liquid on my face so I was so happy to find this magic potion! It evens out my skin tone plus it makes those little flaws disappear. It may cost a bit more then drug store brands but a little goes a long way. Even my Hubby noticed a difference and that's a hard thing to do! It makes my skin look fresh and smooth. That and a little mascara and I'm good to go!

You can find it at Sephora, drugstore.com and philosophy.com.

I hope you try it. It's worth the few extra dollars.
the more it cost the better it is but i bet u that cover gurl is the best product and is really cheap
Anything from MAC and Sephora, because they are very good quality.
Both items I found the best quality and performance in the name brand BEE LUSCIOUS COSMETICS ....

Their hydra bright line diffuser is an incredible under eye concealer, their blemish treatment concealer unbelievable how it conceals acne while fighting and vanishing blemishes.

Their Liquid Powder Mineral foundation is a unique very light yet effective foundation that will never clog your pores and always delivers a truly flawless complexion every single time.

Its a name you can trust very high quality ....

    1) would i have to apply blush to make my face look natural?

    OR:

2)would the redness of my face/ blushing show through a little bit making it look natural?

    thx for answering,

10 points best answer!Super easy concealer question! 10 points best answer!?
It depends on how much concealer you use. If you put a little over your cheeks you would tone down the redness but if you were to paint it on the color would be completely blocked out. If you want to keep your natural blush a tiny bit just use a little bit of concealer. Liquid concealer would be great for that.Super easy concealer question! 10 points best answer!?
well i have that problem also...but it depends on your spacific skin type you should try using a concealer with blush and without blush and see what you think looks good or ask a friend
if you blush lots than the 2nd but if you don't than the first! :)
    1st girl~
a little bit of blush looks natural, it's best to wear concealer if you have blotchy spots...Revlon LIQUID concealer is a must!
it depends what kind you use...you should try evening the it out..
Try using a toner before applying your make-up, it helps even out skin tone. Then apply a moisturizer.

You can wear concealer if you'de like but I would suggest using the toner and lotion.

If you use a mineral foundation (like Bare Escentuals) they cover uneven skin tones really well.

Also try letting your base set for 5-10 mintues without putting other make-up on, this allows the make-up to stay put with other brushes rubbing it.

Apply a light tinted blush almost cream/light tan colored on the apple of the cheek.

    Good luck!
yes it would, unless you use supertghick foundation

    What is concealer???

I feel kinda stupid for asking but what is concealer? Isn't it similar to foundation or is it the same thing?

    Thanks.What is concealer???
Concealer is a product that will cover imperfections much more effortlessly than a foundation. Concealers are much more pigmented than a foundation and come in a variety of shades. It can be used for a variety of dilemmas: blemishes, redness, discoloration, under-eye circles, and scars. It really is a handy product because foundations will not always cover problem-areas very well, due to some foundations with low-pigmentation. Concealers also come is a variety of formulas, ranging from cream stick concealers to liquid concealers. Cream-consistency concealers offer a more blendable approach while liquid concealers can be a bit of a hassle to blend once it dries. So if a foundation isn't giving you the coverage you desire, opt for a concealer to cover those problem areas. Hope this helped! What is concealer???
Concealer is kind of like a spot-foundation. It comes in a stick (like lipstick), a liquid (like lip gloss), sometimes in a squeeze tube, and sometimes in a tiny jar/pot (you'd apply that with a concealer brush). It provides really heavy coverage, so you only use a tiny bit to cover a pimple or something. Most people use a stick/pot concealer for blemishes, dark marks, and scars, while a liquid concealer (squeeze tube or ';lip gloss tube'; form) for dark under eye circles. You can use it alone, with powder, or under foundation.
It is very similar to foundation but it is thicker, and more liquidy.

it is meant to cover up imperfections like pimples and spots or under eye circles.

it usually comes in a little tube that looks kinda of like a lipgloss tube but it is skintoned.
concealer is more liquidy and if you put too much it'll look caked on. and foundation is usually in powder and usually looks best with well moisturized skin. but they both can conceal whatever you need to conceal so that's their only similarity.
Its a little little foundation, except more concentrated and thicker for staying put over things like pimples or unwanted freckles.

Its normally either liquid or in a solid concealer in lipstick-like tubes.
It's similar to foundation, it's just liquified. It cover pimples and imperfections such as discoloring.
unnecessary make-up. i don't know why some girls use it.
ya. its used to cover up marks (like pimples)

It really depends on your age, skin color, and skin type. There are so many brands out there that it is hard to find the one that is great for you. What I recommend doing is going to a third party store, such as a Sephora and asking a beauty person there for some help picking out one. Unlike major department stores, the representatives don't associate with a particular brand, and should be able to find the right formula and color for you. Usually such things are free as well. Good luck!!
It depends on what your trying to conceal. Blemishes, dark circles, etc.

It is a great concealor but again, it depends on what your using it for.

To hide or cover up things, on your face, like dark cirlces beneath the eyes, or redness, or anything really, it needs to match your skintone and it'll hide everything.
concealer is to cover up blemishes or dark circles under your eyes
It's used to conceal (hide) stuff like birthmarks, hickeys, pimples, dark under eye circles, etc.
it looks like lipstick.. but it will be the color of your foundation.you can get it anywhere.
Concealer is to conceal as in to hide or cover up.
to cover up zits or un even skin tone
    Dark circles under the eyes

So... Which concealer stick is the best?

    1. Maybelline Pure.Concealer

    2. ALMAY Nearly Naked Cover Up Stick

    3. ALMAY Clear Complexion Concealer For Oily Skin

    4. Neutrogena Skin Clearing oil-free concealer.

I prefer the 4th one because it has an ingredient that gets rid of acneSo... Which concealer stick is the best?
None of them are really that good, MACS pot ';Studio Finish'; concealers are worth the money, only $32 in Australia! Sooooo cheap :)

But out of thise, if you like mussstttt... NO.3 is ok =) Just because they offer more cyhades then the others and on my friends the other ones turn out really orange, even if its the right shade for their skin!

    Under-eye concealer / cream?

I've got bad dark circles and haven't found a good eye cream nor concealer? I'd preferably like one that helps to diminish lines or just nourishes at the same time as it conceales ... any suggestions? Thanks!Under-eye concealer / cream?
=sorry but none of them really work cause they tend to creeate more lines.Under-eye concealer / cream?
    Try Cean %26amp; Clear Products.

    HOpe it help.
mary kay soothing eye gel and age fighting eye cream will be okay.
I have found that Dermablend works the best for concealing dark circles. Bioelements has a product called Tinted Under Eye and Lid Smoother. It works with the lines and dryness.

What does concealer do? What do you use it for?

usually to cover up circles under the eye and or to concealer dark spots on the face..but if you don't choose the right color you could end up looking like a racoon...and never ever put it over zits as some do...as it draws more attention to it especially when the zit is at the drying out stage...it doesn't matter what you pay..i've seen some that are just as good at 3.00 to some that cost way more...the trick is in getting the right color..maybe a shade lighter than your skin tone...no lighter and after you apply it...blend blend blend with a makeup sponge they sell them at wallmart..they're wedges..like 2.00 for like 20 i think...What does concealer do? What do you use it for?
it's a product that is supposed to cover up significant flaws on your skin.

like dark circles under your eyes, or a scar, or redness. What does concealer do? What do you use it for?
you can use it to cover up small things on your face. It can be used to hide bags under eyes, hide pimple, hide beauty marks, hide scars and sometimes hide wrinkles.

    Do you think im pretty?

Concealer is a liquid or cream that you put over dark undereye circles and other flaws that foundation alone can't cover.
well a foundation should really just even out your skin tone so if you have under eye circles or acne spots etc, pat concealer over them and they will cover them up! :)

Which foundation/concealer is best at covering Acne , DARK circles, And scars?

I really like a product called pur minerals pressed foundation. It doesn't feel like make up,covers really well and is made with minerals. It is nice because it doesn't make a mess like bare essentials make-up. You can buy it online and it matches really good to your skin tone and lasts all day. You do not need a concealer or a powder,it provides that in one easy step. I have tried all brands of make up and have had trouble with all of them I have some acne, some acne scars and dark circles as well as oily, sensitive skin. If I go out at night and want to look fabulous I use cover girl smoothers that you can get just about any where and that works just as well as any expensive brand I have tried.Good luck and if you buy pur minerals I really think you will love it!Which foundation/concealer is best at covering Acne , DARK circles, And scars?

    very good.

If you find your skin breaking out, try treatment makeup, like the new Almay Clear Complexion Blemish Healing Makeup ($12) and Concealer ($7; both at drugstores). Both are oil-free and contain salicylic acid to fight acne, as well as soothing botanicals aloe and chamomile to help calm the skin.

For dark circles and scars try Dermablend...
An awesome cake concealer is Dermablend!! With the right amount and application it can even cover tattos!
i just got this makeup and i am so amazed at how much it really covers up. BARE MINERALS. it is expensive but it is truely worth it.
There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:

Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water %26amp; stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath %26amp; let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K %26amp; Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

Dark circles can treated with regular and gentle care. Cover your eyes with cotton soaked in lukewarm milk for 15 minutes everyday to remove the dark circles around your eyes or dip cotton pads into freshly extracted mint juice, flatten them and place them on closed eyelids for 10 to 15 minutes. Some more useful tips at http://useinfo-darkcircles.blogspot.com/

How do you feel about green concealers (to counteract redness)?

    Do they really work?

    Does the green show?

Any favorite brands or special techniques?

Thanks guys! How do you feel about green concealers (to counteract redness)?
Yes it works. Also yellow hides undereye circles. Get quality. I like Lancome. They'll show you how to use it.How do you feel about green concealers (to counteract redness)?
I can't imagine that they are somehow miraculous, as then they would have gained more of a loyal following. I doubt that having green concealer is any better than having the standard kind.
A brand called Physicians Formula makes this. They're a great brand, so it might work.

You'll find this in any drugstore/target..

    Good Luck
I used that brand and thought it worked great. I just apply a small bit and blend it in and cover with foundation. The green will not show after you put your foundation on but make sure that you blend evenly to keep the makeup from looking too heavy in some areas. Yes it really works because green is opposite of red on the color wheel, so they cancel each other out.
yes physicians formula is kind of cheap, but it prob would work if you used the green concealer then ur regular concealer on top and finish with some translucent powder
I never had any luck with them and I have tried several brands. But that's just me. Give it a shot...nothing to lose!
All I know is that my sister in law had a really bad sunburn once and she used it, dont know what brand, and it really worked for her. It toned it down sooo much.
For blemishes, a skin colored concealer is really a better bet. For large areas of redness, such as rosacea or a large birthmark, green concealer can be quite effective. It is meant to be a neutralizer, and should not be worn alone (or the green would be slightly evident). It should be applied to the areas of redness and followed with normal application of foundation on top. I am partial to MAC green color corrector. It blends well and really neutralizes red without being heavy.
I have really pink skin. If my foundation won't cover it, I haven't picked the right foundation. I use virtual matte by prescriptives and love it. I also love Aveda dual performance. Great coverage and easy. I gets lots of compliments on my skin.
I have red skin due to rosacea. So one day I opened the Eucerine redness relief at the drugstore to see what color it would look on my skin. I put some of the foam into my palm and found a mirror and proceded to apply it to my skin. It was a bad day as far as my redness. It was really noticable that day. I put the foam on and before my eyes the red completely vanished. I couldn't believe it!!!!! But the stuff is pricy....$14.99 for one bottle. You can go onliine at www.eucerine .com and under Redness Relief they will send you a sample so you can see how it looks before you but it. WHy don't you do that? I think it gives a nice almost waxy glow to the skin. So now everyone says what beautiful skin I have!!!!!!!!!!It's really not, it just looks that way because of the Redness Relief!
Yes they do work if you get a good quality brand such as BeautiControl. I am a consultant and have several clients who absolutely love ours. Feel free to email me for more info at caraco514@yahoo.com
I never owned one but my mom once told me a funny story. She had a friend that had green concealor or eye shadow in a tube like a lipstick. They were in the car and it was dark and by the time they got to the bar they wanted to go to, my mom turned to look at her friend and she had GREEN lips!!!! She had mistakenly grabbed the tube of green stuff (thinking it was her lipstick). Moral of the story: don't apply makeup in a dark car without using a mirror at least!
They work, but be sure to get a good quality brand. I've tried the cheaper brands and it's harder to blend into your skin, so the green shows after your other makeup wears off.
i have a green concealer. it works pretty well, if u just use a little bit. then dab(don't rub) some foundation over it to cover the green. here's a kind to try: Physicians Formula Wanderful Wand.

    good luck!

All these products are actually very good for your skin and none of them are tested on animals. Brands like CoverGirl, Maybelline, L'Oreal, and Rimmel are all cruelty brands. Almay is great if you are looking for a less expensive makeup, but my favorite is Urban Decay. Most of their products are vegan. Good luck with your search!Best concealer and foundation ?
In my experience Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse is the best out there for its price. I don't tend to wear concealer so, sorry, can't help you there!Best concealer and foundation ?
you should try tinted moisturisure rather than foundation. its much lighter and doesnt damage or block your pores and is friendlier to young skin. try clinique or mac for tinted moisturisure. you should just go out and try loads of different brands and see which one is best for you in terms of conceler. i wear loreal conceler and its pretty good.
The Stila Eye Concealer is fab for circles under the eyes etc and the L'Oreal Infallible concealer is great and lasts up to 16 hours, good for covering spots and imperfections. You can buy both these items plus other cheap cosmetics from http://www.beautyparlor.co.uk

    Best drugstore concealer?

I've used CG Smoothers concealer, and it sucks. It moves around a lot and the formula is just off.

Are there any drugstore concealer you guys can recommend to me?

    Thanks :D :DBest drugstore concealer?
I recommend the Revlon Colorstay Concealer.

All the physician formula's concealers have also worked for me too.

    However...

If you could splurge, I think concealer would be the perfect makeup to splurge for.

MAC studio finish concealer has worked wonders for me.Best drugstore concealer?
I used Loreal true match concealer it liquid form is looks like a eye mascara container is goood I search alot for a good concealer this one is the best I use so far it looks very natural not cakey or thick just very nice light but good enough to cover scars pimples it cost 8 at drugstore.
Revlon Colorstay is the best. I use their foundation and concealer.

I wouldn't suggest the Maybelene* concealer, it comes off when you get wet, like, it looks disgusting. Stick with Revlon.
there is a powder i love!! i use all bobbi brown except the powder and i just get drugstore mascera and mac eyr shadow some times. its organic i forgot wat its called but its somthin around oorganic
Anything by Revlon, their products are completely amazing and you won't be disappointed (:
i prefer the stick kind over the liquid because it's thicker and stays soooo much better.

the best one ive ever tried is maybelline cover stick.
i use the dream matte mousse.

i really like how it looks!

Does concealer or foundation under eyeshadow really keep the shadow on longer and keep it from creasing ??????

No powder does. Powder dries up the oils on your eyelid that cause creasing. So powder your eyelid before applying eyeshadow.Does concealer or foundation under eyeshadow really keep the shadow on longer and keep it from creasing ??????
OMG!!! yes, that is about the best thing you can do for your eye makeup, primer is even better, this is a great one: http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr鈥?/a>

hope this helps!!!=~]Does concealer or foundation under eyeshadow really keep the shadow on longer and keep it from creasing ??????
Yes and it also make the color more true. Use a foundation then brush with a powder then apply the shadow.
    no
no, use a primer. smashbox and mac have good ones.
not really because when you use eyeshadow, your skin tends to crease and start to get wrinkles because of the chemicals..
I use a concealer on my eyelids and it helps tremendously. There are prime products out there, stay away from MAC...their quality is horrible. You can also use a cream eyeshadow in the same color family to do the job as well.
yes it does, but certain foundations have more oil than others that can irritate ur eyelids. conceler also does the trick but ur eyeshadow eventually gets clumpy by the end of the day because the conceler is so thick. u need something more thin thatll cover the eyelid evenly. i use mostly mac products and mac makes this product called prep and prime made exactly for ur eyeshadow to stay longer and it goes on brighter too! hope this will help!

    Muahz
Yes, well thats what I always do. I apply concealer first that matches my skin tone and then my eyeshadow followed by mascara then I dot some under my eyes and it really lightens the area up.

    Good concealer and foundation?

i need a colcealer that can actually cover up the blemishes like redness. and a good foundation.

it doesnt give u acne either if ur skin gets clogged easily
    i would recommend Loreal.

  • Makeup concealer before or after foundation?

before. (AS above.) But if you are trying to conceal blemishes, try a primer first. They help to keep pores unclogged and so maybe in the long run you won't have any problems! Laura Mercier makes a great primer for those of us who love to wear makeup, but have skin issues.Makeup concealer before or after foundation?
before!!!Makeup concealer before or after foundation?
All the experts, after. I am no expret. However, I agree.
    depends....

    liquid foundation, conceal after

    powder foundation, conceal before.
before- u put concealer on dark spots or pimples, this covers the darkness. then put concelear on to smooth out. afterwards apply bronzer and blush to even out your skin tone.
    Before
Before and maybe a little after. I use powder instead of foundation and concealer to help with dark circles. so I cover with concealer first, dab with powder then touch up with concealer.
Definitely before, but I also suggest that you get the right concealer because majority of these cake up under foundations. I use the Yellow pencil from NYC. It is dirt cheap and it does wonders in covering everything on my skin. It looks great under my eyes and the rest of my face. You can buy this brand from CVS or other major drugstores.
Put foundation on first, then concealer. The foundation blends the skin tone evenly, and the concealer helps it stay in place through out the day.
Before. The concealer may be a different shade of colour and putting it on afterwards will differ in colour.
ALWAYS do concealer before and then if it didnt cover up as much as you wanted to you can always touch up
check the links below for beauty tips to:-- Makeup - how to apply.

I've had my make-up done by professional make-up artists several times, and they always apply foundation first, and concealer second. I trust them.
its before the foundation but if u arent satisfied with what u got after u applied the make up just add more concealer after u r done but be cautious not to add too much because at the end it turns to be grey and really bad..and also avoid trying darker or lighters colors of concealer the darker will show that u have more and more black spots under ur eye or where ever and the light one will never make u satisfied with the color and it will end up with having toooooo much concealer with no result except being fake..

remember: when ever u add too much concealer it turns into a grey color which will be really bad..

    Mix concealer and moisturizer?

ya i tried it. works really good, try using like a thick lotion with a thin concealer, or thick one dosent really matter. works great tho, u can also mix in SPF if needeMix concealer and moisturizer?

    that works.

    or try tinted moistrizer.

    Does concealer/makeup cause wrinkles?

I have bad wrinkles under my eyes I have always used concealer to hide my dark circles, does wearing concealer cause wrinkles?Does concealer/makeup cause wrinkles?
    It doesn't.

The wrinkles under your eyes might be due to stretching. For example, do you stretch the skin under your eyes when you apply your eye makeup? Or have you been tugging at it to put on your contact lenses? Or perhaps when you remove your eye makeup? As our eye area is the most delicate part of our face, you should always treat it with extra care. Use mild eye makeup remover, avoid tugging the skin around your eyes.

At the same time UVA (from the sun) is what we commonly call ';aging rays'; - but I doubt sun exposure is the main reason why you're getting those fine lines since you're only 18. In any case, always wear sunscreen when you're exposed under the sun, to prevent signs of aging from appearing.Does concealer/makeup cause wrinkles?
Makeup does not cause wrinkles. If you are not careful when you apply makeup or clean your face, that can cause the problem. You need to be very gentle and not to pull the skin.

Dry skin prone to wrinkles more then oily. Sun damage also speeds up the aging process.

To help improve the appearance of the skin, you can enrich any eye-cream or gel with active ingredients. Alpha Lipoic Acid is good for treating inflammation and wrinkles, vitamin C fights free radicals and rejuvenates, DMAE tightens the skin, vitamin K straightens the blood vessels and decreases the appearance of dark circles. Add any one of these actives or mix them all together for greater benefits. You will need to add only one capsule of each active to a jar of eye-cream. You'll find all you need in pharmacy.

If you want immediate result, look for good skin care specifically designed to treat this problem. There is a lot to choose from.

We ( GSD Enterprise) just launched '; Youth Factory';, a new skin care line that that targets the skin problems like yours. These products will be available online in a couple of weeks at www.youthfactory.biz

Ok. They will fade in meantime but if you want to get them gone faster Go to your local drugstore and purchase ';Curad Scar Therpay';, they're clear pads you wear for 12 hours a day everyday for 8 weeks and ur scars will fade away. They can be used for any scars, acne, pigments, injuries.
i am a fellow sufferer. friend recommended meladerm, acne spots are quickly fading after just 2 weeks, so effective, that i am now supplying this cream in australia and thinking of quitting my fulltime job
Go see a doctor because some products can be good for some people but not for every type of skin you know
I agree with the other answer that it totally depends on your skin type- generally mederma is great for after surgery scars. BUT since it is on your face %26amp; prone to more breakouts (the mederma is made w/ onion extract, so it can smell after a while) there might be something more effective and possibly contain an ingredient to lighten the red areas.... I would suggest just calling a dr.'s office to ask them if you can simply buy the product w/out having to make an appt, but most will have you actually see the dr..... I used to work at a cosmetic surgery place though, and they will also have great products that are for scars and you can just walk into the office and ask to purchase them. Another idea is just using the proactiv lotion b/c it contains small amts of benzol peroxide that will help fade scars gradually and keep new breakouts from happening- (maybe using every other day though)

Physicians formula makes cover up makeup that is for discolorations, but in my opinion, I think it is too thick. I like to use Neutrogena clear skin foundation that you can buy almost anywhere b/c it also has benzol per. to prevent breakouts- it lets your skin breathe, but at the same time I think it covers REALLY well too. Just a few ideas....

    What concealer do YOU use?

And, what do you use it for? What concealer do YOU use?
here are my top concealer picks (for different budgets) i have tried and loved them all...

benefit boi-ing concealer $18 at sephora, 3 shades

merle norman cover up $12 at merle norman, 12 shades

mark perfect touch concealer $5 from mark/avon rep, 5 shades

i also like physician's formula le velvet film makeup for concealer... i use them for under my eyes. What concealer do YOU use?
I use a Physician's Formula concealer for my acne scars.
Bobbi Brown concealer kit (comes with loose powder) in honey for dark circles and Shiseido liquid concealer in dark for small facial imperfections. The latter can be even a great alternative for foundation because it is very light and natural :)
Cliniques All about eyes to get rid of the tired puffy eye look.
almay and occasionally tarte. my whole face,i dont have acne, but i like to have a perfected look.
    clinique quick corrector concealer.

i use it for zits and my eye area (dark circles and smoothing out my lid for shadow)

  • BEST concealer for covering pimple marks...?

I want to know the best concealer out there to cover up pimple marks, I use Loreal Bare minerals for my foundation, and my pimple marks is still kind of show. I want to cover them up completely, and I never use a concealer so I dont know how to put it on. Should I put it before I put my powder foundation or after?

    Thank YOU!!!

=)BEST concealer for covering pimple marks...?
maybelline shine free blemish control concealer.. thats the one i use its really good and doesnt cost much. apply it before your foundation, dap it on the pimple mark and rub it in around the edges : )BEST concealer for covering pimple marks...?
MAC has the best products for coverup...mind you hough this makeup is not made to look natural on your face...but if these marks are really noticeable, then there isnt much you can do but to wear heavy makeup.... I use ';Select SPF 15 Foundation'; in liquid form as a base to even out color...then i use ';Studio Fix'; powder foundation to seal it....now if you still see certain spots or areas that still have not been covered, use ';Select Cover-up';, but only on the specific problem areas and not all over. then use a ';Select Shear Pressed Powder'; or ';Blot powder'; to get rid of any shininess. Throughout the day, only reapply the select shear pressed powder or blotting powder.
Dermablend';COVERMARK';,or PHYSICIANS FORMULA cover ups are really good. Its great to go to the store %26amp; get a sample, before you buy full size. Some dept. stores offer free samples, then you can tell what will work best for *you*.Follow the directions listed on the package.

You apply the cover-up first, because the foundation then powder will help it all work together,as well as ';set';,(stay on longer). There are some great free make-up tip books in the library, also.
i use kryolan's stick makeup as a base...if applied well it covers up everything completely..but i usually use to cover up ';areas'; only not the whole face, so i usually just dot it on.....

for spots i use loreal true match concealer..n estee lauder's concealer is pretty good too..i apply my foundation first ,,then apply the concealer on the spot with the applicator.wait a minute, then pat the spot lightly with my finger to blend without rubbing it off..finally i dot on my foundation n pat it on top of the concealer applied so that the spot blends completely with the base finally dust on powder to set it n completely conceal it
    Clinique's Tinted-Moisturizer.
concealer should go on before powder. the powder will blend it in then. i use nars concealer from sephora, but almay works as well. i personally like concealers that are in stick for. dab it on and then blend in the edges with your finger tips. hope this helps :D

    Which concealer would you suggest?

I have a few brown spots from acne on my face, and now i just need a concaler that would really fully hide them.

im using a lise watier concealer, but it comes off during the day, and i dont like that..

help..? :)Which concealer would you suggest?
I just use The Body Shop's jumbo pencil concealers...Which concealer would you suggest?
I used to swear by clinique products but recently started using Bare Essentials and LOVE them.

I have a red birthmark just under my left nostril and with the new makeup its completely covered all day long. I havent found anything else that is as good. Plus, my skin is in much better condition as well.

Word to the wise... make sure you are using a good moisturizer are least 10 beforehand, because if your skin is dry, you will see the dry skin.
I've always used Almay foundation all over my face for concealer, and it works well for me. A foundation is good if you've got more than a couple brown spots or acne or blemishes. This is the kind I use, and it lasts a really long time. (You pump it!)

    MAC Select Cover Up.

it's a good deal for the price, like 15$ i think, and it lasts a long time.

i used it especially under my eyes and a spot i have from a stubborn pimple.

it's very lightweight, so you can control how much you use... and can build it up to have more coverage as well.

you can go to a MAC store and try it out before you buy it, i was sold on it right away.
i use this brand called ';benefit'; i got it from shoppers drug mart its a little pricey but its the best i use it to hide my beauty marks on my face and it works all day long and really hides it well you should really try it

    Bareminerals

And to get the best results do a face mask often!
you want to use bare minerals they may be exspensive but it wont give you acne like any other conceler

What concealer do you use? Why?

Estee Lauder double-wear concealer b/c it covers well, stays on all day, and if applied properly doesn't look like I am wearing any make-up! If you are looking for a good concealer I suggest investing in quality brand like Estee Lauder, Lancome, or Laura Mercier. These products are non-acnegenic (wont cause break outs) non-comedogenic (won't clog pores) dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested. Also I recommend going and speaking with the reps at the counters about your eye area concerns they will help you find the best match and the best kind depending on your eye area concerns. Granted these brands are a little more expensive then drug store brands but the are good quality products and you only have one face and one pair of eyes so it's worth the investment! What concealer do you use? Why?
I USE CLEAN AND CLEAR ADVANTAGE CONCEALER, BECAUSE IT HELPS CLEAR YOUR SKIN AS YOU USE IT! IT WORKS GREATWhat concealer do you use? Why?
Prescriptives - because it's excellent and has great coverage.
It is from a cosmetic line called Color Me Beautiful. It has four different concealers in one container. It has yellow, light lavender, anchorwoman blue and skin color. This evens out your skin and makes you look like you have a luminous complexion. This is the best I have ever used. It can be purchased at Ulta Cosmetic Store. If not look for the Color Me Beautiful line on the internet. Try it you will love it.
Benefit boi-ing because it is the longest lasting best one I have found.
clinique air brush concealer. it is a liquid that you air brush on and blend in. it doesn't look thick and caked on and melts into your skin.

Best drugstore concealer?? To cover UNDEREYE CIRCLES?

I'm desperately seeking a good concealer, but I can't afford to splurge at Sephora right now. I have severe dark undereye circles, and I can't seem to cover them with the concealer I have...I know I need something with a peachy/orange/pink tint. Any ideas? Thanks :)Best drugstore concealer?? Try the Sonia Kashuk collection at Target. I saw this awsome concealer palatte for only $10. Im sure it has everything you need. =] you could also try L'oreal they make good ones 2.
    Covergirl tru blend whipped foundation

What is the use of a concealer?

Concealor helps cover up dark circles underneath your eyes, and can be used to help cover up things like blemishes or pimples. This all depends on the color of your concealor of course. Green is used for blemishes, while yellow's used for circles (I think!!).

Hope it helps =]What is the use of a concealer?
To cover up spots, to put over bags under your eyes. And some people use it to cover up scars, but i wouldn't say that's as common.

(:What is the use of a concealer?
concealer is designed to cover more than a foundation. So you'd use it to cover scars, spots and dark circles.

To conceal things such as Blemishes, Dark circles or puffiness.

  • Replacement for 'Revlon Age Defying concealer'?

Hi Guys, I wonder if you can help?

For the past few months, I have been unable to find this product in the UK. (I been in a number of Boots and Superdrugs, but no where seems to stock it!)

Does anyone know if this item has been discontinued, or if there is another product that is similar to it?

Its the one in the little red square compact.

i have a beige somewhat yellow undertone to my skin so i often find that the concealer is usually too pink or too beige in stores... and i would really like to know what concealer works best for u? keep it 30 and under dollars please...i dont like powders, i like creams/liquids more...thanksConcealer...for a beige slightly yellowed skin tone.?
Cargo! It's the best for yellow tones. It's like $24 at Sephora. Concealer...for a beige slightly yellowed skin tone.?
Same problem its best to use foundation then cocealer and try picking a concealer that is a shade lighter than ur skin tone u may want to try avon or mary kay or mark i know for sure u can ask for samples before choosing ur color avon concealers are $3.99-8.99 mark is like $5-6 mary kay might be a little more expensive
Bobbi Brown's stick concealer is perfect for skin with yellow undertones. It's the best one I've ever used. When you dab it on a pimple, it turns the color of your skin and disappears like a miracle. It costs $20.00 and can be purchased at Nordstrom or Macy's.
maybe the color olive i have seen that shade in max factor pan stick. walmart had it
medium or ivory from wall mart walgreens or rite aid

Yes Rimmel has great products. The concealer is very good. Yes, Lumene can be purchased at CVS. I saw it there today. They have a great selection and the products range from $10 and up.Is rimmel RECOVER anti fatigue concealer good?and has anyone heard of the brand lumene'?where can i get it?
It is pretty good. You can buy it at Walgreens, I'm not sure about any other store. Is rimmel RECOVER anti fatigue concealer good?and has anyone heard of the brand lumene'?where can i get it?
I believe they carry Lumene at CVS. I would check the website....
i use this concealer in the shade 001 ivory....its ok for the price....i use it to cover shades under the eyes and slight redness.just dont use too much at once....and pat in with your fingertip.

Lumene is a finnish brand,i guess u can find it in Finland and here in Sweden where i live....im not sure abt other countries but i guess its possible to find in all of scandinavia at least.its pretty good.i love the berry fun lipgloss......

hope i could be of assistance...... :-)

A good, effective yet inexpensive concealer?

i'm a teenager and i have quite bad skin, so for the days that i have a huge spot or if i'm going out i need a concealer. but, as you can probably guess, i also can't spend much on makeup. so if someone could point me in a good direction... i'm preferably looking for like 15 pounds ABSOLUTE max. thanks!! xA good, effective yet inexpensive concealer?
Physician's formula makes one called ';Conceal RX';, it's pretty good. I use it with a sponge to sort of blot/dab it on.A good, effective yet inexpensive concealer?
Sally Hansen concealer works great! (not sure if I spelled that right??) plus its pretty cheap :)
Save up and get laura mercier ';secret camouflage';. You will NOT regret it. Trust me. This stuff is AMAZING. it's $28 but lasts forever. I got mine about 5 months ago and I still have a ton left. It comes in a container with 2 different colors that you can mix together so you can use it undereyes to brighten them up or over blemishes. Seriously, don't waste your money on a $15 concealer that won't last as long and won't do as good of a job.

Revlon Colorstay Pressed Powder and Concealer?

Hey everyone ! I'm thinking about changing my liquid foundation to powder foundation and i would like to try the Revlon Colorstay Pressed Powder: http://www.revlon.com/ProductCatalog/ProductDetails.aspx?CategoryID=1%26amp;SubCategoryID=4%26amp;ProductID=22

Do you know if it work good ?

    Good coverage?

And would this work good if i put on the Revlon Colorstay Blemish Concealer, and then apply the pressed powder?

Thankyou :)Revlon Colorstay Pressed Powder and Concealer?
Revlon Colorstay is an excellent foundation and it goes on smooth, lasts all day with minimal touch ups. If you have really oily skin you will probably need to blot once or twice during a long day.. but that is normal.

Colorstay is medium coverage, but doesn't go on cakey or chalky, as with some powder foundations. It leaves a velvety finish. I've used it before and was happy with the product.

My routine is cleanse-tone-moisturize-concealer-founda鈥?powder. So yes, do put concealer on before foundation. Just make sure to blend.

    Arbonne's concealer is fabulous!

    About Face Concealer-

Conceal imperfections while hydrating skin with Arbonne's light-reflecting Concealer, in four shades that won't dry, flake or smudge. This botanically-based, lightweight concealer helps to even skin tone and conceal blemishes prior to foundation. Enjoy lasting color and easy application with the built-in wand.Concealer which does not clog pores?
Mac if you have the money or try bare minerals.
Body Shop is your answer. Check it out in stores for its easy-to-use concealers. I'm not too sure if concealer clog pores but I'm pretty sure that foundation powder does clog pores if there's no proper moisturiser being applied onto your face or skin.
i use Bare MInerals. it is all natural,no artificial stuff in it except grounded minerals into a powder! it is good, stays on, does not make you break out and you can sleep with the make up on-only if you wear the Bare Minerals kit pruducts! try the kit which is like $60 and the foundation that you are given-2 shades doubles up as concealer too!plus buying the kit would be cheaper than buying the thing/concelear by itself which is like $20 at Sephora and Ulta....and for $40 more you get 2 foundations, a blush, 3 brushes, cleanser, a how to step by step DVD which is all more than $130 !i would get the kit and use the foundation as concelear since that is what i do and it works better than the concelear that i have used!

    hope this helped
~What kind of foundation do you use? this is what i do, i use an aerosol foundation and the litle build up you get at the opening i take a make up brush and use that to cover any imperfections. it works great and is a two in 1! Best of luck!~
I use Napaleon and I find their products are really good. It gives full coverage and does not clog pores.
Try BareMinerals. And whatever you do, do not use MAC, gives ya zits.

    **** is my m.a.c concealer?

I have a question, what does concealer do for your face?**** is my m.a.c concealer?
Concealer conceals any flaws or imperfections on your skin. You can apply it to dark circles under the eyes and dot it onto blemishes and acne scars. It covers them up without you having to wear foundation all over your face, although it can be used with foundation if you want to.

As far as I know, lemon does not lighten your skin. Lemon juice is very good for your skin if used properly, but I don't think it would change your skin's color.**** is my m.a.c concealer?
You can use concealer before or after applying your moisturizer and foundation. Most people use it before. If you have acne scars, blemishes, dark circles under your eyes, concealer can help lessen the appearance of these.

I've never heard of anything lightening your skin besides bleach. Embrace your own skin color.
Concealer is used to cover up blemishes or dark circles under your eyes. I agree, I almost never use concealer. Instead, I use foundation and set it with loose powder - it's much more natural looking.

Sorry I don't know the lemon answer. I've heard it does, but I'm beyond pale so I've never tried it lol!
Concealer covers up obvious blemishes and dark circles underneath your eyes. I personally don't lean toward Mac Cosmetics, but I have heard praises on their concealer. I don't use a concealer unless it's completely called for. But I'm also still very young.
Concealer hides imperfections such as pimples, dark under eye circles, etc.

Yes lemon actually lightens your skin.

    What is your favorite concealer??

I'm not currently too happy with my CoverGirl concealer, it doesnt match my skin tone that well and doesnt seem to stay throughout the day. Any suggestions??What is your favorite concealer??
I really like 'Everyday Minerals' concealers. There are several different colors for different problem areas. Great stuff! What is your favorite concealer??
For Under Eye Dark Circles, the best concealers for that would be Vincent Longo Concealer and Stila Illuminating Concealer.

If you want a concealer for covering blemishes or like something else, I LOVE MAC CONCEALERS!

All of them are really good but MAC Studio Finish is Full Coverage, so go to your local nearest Macy's or Nordstrom and go to the MAC counters and tell them you want a concealer and they will find the right one for you.

    Good Luck! =)
you should use the mac select SPF 15

moisture blend foundation it works great

and they have a ton of different shades for

    every skin type.

after that you should use mac select sheer/ pressed

foundation its a powder. if you put it over the moisture blend

one it makes you skin look so natural. i do this myself.
Max Factor -- it has a smoother finish, less oily, and it is still inexpensive. I really like the more expensive stuff but when you can't get it you could use max factor it is worth the money adn i think they also have a money back guarantee.
Get that green concealer for physicians formula, if you have blemishes and redness. It seems funny but since red and green are complimentary colors and they counteract each other it works well.
Bee Luscious Cosmetics is incredible. I use it on myself as well as my clients. Once you try it you will never want anything else.
I second MAC studiofix ;-) the coverage is pretty good and there are quite a few colours to pick from.
mac studio fix deff... i used covergirl and all those brands for years and mac is by far the best. :D

I have 2 that work pretty well. One is a MAC concealer that I put on with a concealer brush, the other is Maybelline pure minerals concealer
Bee Luscious! You can't beat it and nothing is better!

Whats a good concealer - maybe a green concealer?

i have some spots, but they're always huge ): And because of that, they go very red, and as i have oily skin, concealer which is liquid just separates on my skin. I would like a long lasting concealer, which isn't expensive! Oh - and if you could answer, is dainty doll foundation makeup any good? Any recommendations?

    thanks!!Whats a good concealer - maybe a green concealer?
I would seriously recommend Bo-ing Concealor by Benefit, a little expensive at 拢15.50, but trust me, it's worth it. It is industrial strength concealor, it covers all spots, and I use it everyday. It looks really natural on. A little goes a long way with this so it is worth the money.

Oh, and it is anti-bacterial, so unlike other foundations/concealors it will actually help your skin, not mask it! If this is too expensive then I would also recommend Witch Hazel Concealor, it is available at supermarkets like Tesco and I think it's at Boots. It is really cheap at 拢3 or something! It also helps your skin as Witch Hazel is believed to heal your skin!

    Hope I helped =DWhats a good concealer - maybe a green concealer?
Hey, i have the same type of skin. Mines really oily too.

i have Sheer Cover concealer and it works really well, and it's not that expensive.

it's like a paint. thinner than foundation but thicker than a stick concealer. it always covers my outbreaks.

Dainty Doll makeup is for paler skin, like very pale skin as Nicola from Girls Aloud designed it. So if you have pale skin, i reccommend it, but it may be quite expensive, i'm not sure.

hope i helped. good luck. x
I love MAC's concealers - but the best of the best would have to be Benefits' ';Boiing'; concealer.

It will cover anything and EVERYTHING.

A little costly, but works wonders.
I use Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse it's really good at covering up, lasts long and is reasonably cheap :) Try it

concealer doesn't have to perfectly match your skin tone or foundation but try not to make it any darker. if its lighter %26amp; you apply foundation after it usually looks nice (i don't mean white - a couple shades lighter should be ok though)

if you're trying to cover up red marks i've heard that you should look for a concealer with a green-ish tint but you might want to look for a yellow tint if you'd like

Looking for a new concealer (from mac)?

i've never purchased from mac and i've heard their concealers are really good so i figure i'll start out with one.

thing is, should i get studio sculpt concealer or studio finish w/ spf 35?

which one lasts longer and covers the best?

thanksssss (:Looking for a new concealer (from mac)?
It really depends on what your trying to conceal...I don't have dark circles under my eyes so I find that studio sculpt and studio finish are way to heavy for me.So I use MAC's Select Moisturecover concealer instead.I think that Select Moisturecover works best on me as it has a lighter constancy but still provides great coverage.I can also use it under mineral foundation or my MAC msf natural foundation...the others are just to heavy for powder foundation products imo.

...But all around Studio Sculpt is better then Studio Finish.I find studio finish is very drying especially when layering products over it.Studio Sculpt I also like,I tend to use it less.I do use it when I wear cream foundation or have a blemish...So I would go with Studio Sculpt or Select Moisturecover, it just depends on the type of coverage you want.Looking for a new concealer (from mac)?
i think the studio sculpt concealer is the best

The BEST eye concealer I have ever used and is the only concealer I use is Perfecting Concealer by American Beauty. I purchased mine at Kohl's and will never have to look for another concealer again. You know when you just KNOW it's the best you've ever used.

    Revlon Colorstay Blemish Concealer

I've tried tons of concealers, both drugstore and department store, and this is by far the best one. I'm pale and have fair skin, and I also have redness and some pimples. Trust me-you'll love this concealer.

    I hope I helped!
You are in luck! Physicians Formula (found in drug stores and discount stores like Target, Walmart) has some great concealers for this exact problem!

Use GREEN concealer for redness and discoloration. I know, at first - this sounds crazy, but try it and you won't believe it.

Use YELLOW concealer to hide dark circles.

With both concealers, you just put it on the affected area and then dab well with a makeup sponge to blend.

Well, I use a liquid foundation on my whole face, it works pretty well. I use the True Blend liquid, and it is pretty reasonably priced, you should check it out!

    Hope this helps!
covergirl aqua smooth is really really good, and I've used $70 concealers in the past. It goes on smoothly and gives really good coverage.
