What is concealer???

I feel kinda stupid for asking but what is concealer? Isn't it similar to foundation or is it the same thing?

Concealer is kind of like a spot-foundation. It comes in a stick (like lipstick), a liquid (like lip gloss), sometimes in a squeeze tube, and sometimes in a tiny jar/pot (you'd apply that with a concealer brush). It provides really heavy coverage, so you only use a tiny bit to cover a pimple or something. Most people use a stick/pot concealer for blemishes, dark marks, and scars, while a liquid concealer (squeeze tube or ';lip gloss tube'; form) for dark under eye circles. You can use it alone, with powder, or under foundation.

concealer is more liquidy and if you put too much it'll look caked on. and foundation is usually in powder and usually looks best with well moisturized skin. but they both can conceal whatever you need to conceal so that's their only similarity.
