How to apply concealer?

i have a birthmark, and i want to apply concealer, i heard you have to put liquid foundation first, idk, please help, tell me what brands are gud, and what products to buy! thank you!How to apply concealer?

I use Covergirl foundation and that works pretty food for me although I don't use it everyday like I use to, you have to let your skin breathe.Here are some tips,this site can teach you how.





Cleanse the face thoroughly with a high-quality facial cleansing soap. Starting with clean skin will allow any concealer and makeup to properly and evenly apply to your face. Use a cleanser that is suited to your skin type in normal, oily or combinations skin.





Step2


Decide the color of concealer that you need for your skin tone. Concealer usually comes in three shades of fair, medium or dark. To find your color, apply concealer to the inside of your arm or wrist to closely match the color as closely as possible to your skin tone. Many high-quality fashion concealers can be found at major department stores





Step3


Use the ring finger of either hand to place a small amount of concealer to your face. Dot the concealer lightly around the eyes with the ring finger. Be careful to not pull or tug on the eye. Tugging or pulling can eventually cause skin to sag or age prematurely.





Step4


Apply a light covering of makeup foundation to the skin to blend in with the concealer. You can also use a little water blended in with the makeup to also help the concealer to set. When a concealer sets, it is less likely to smudge or bleed into your face makeup.





Step5


Cleanse your face thoroughly again when removing the concealer and face makeup. Pay careful attention to the skin area around the eyes again to avoid tugging or pulling. Apply a quality moisturizing foundation to your face and especially to any dry or problem areas.

Keep your makeup facial image in fashion by using a concealer each time you apply your makeup for a flawless look and use the best quality products on your skin.






MAC makes a wonderful concealer. It is liquid and it is best applied with a damp concealer brush and light-handedness is crucial or it gets cakey. Go to one of their kiosks or to the store at your nearest mall and ask for help with colors. They can also show you how to do it and have it not look fake or pasty. Spritz your face with their hydrator, or another brand and set your make up....don't apply a lot of powder or it will start to look cakey.
okay i use cover girl true blend, and the true blend mineral powder. and i apply it with a posh foundation blush to prevent it from looking sluttyy.





Foundation


1.What i do is i put very very little on the back of one hand (less is more!)


2. i spread it from my nose and out under my eyes.


3. I keep it going up to my forehead in upward stokes.


4. and to my chin and cheeks.


5. i just sort of spread it all around evenly. ( i know it doesnt make sense but it will once you try it!)





For a healthy looking glow i use the cover girl mineral true blend powder. It comes with its own little brush, and i pat it on and spread it around with that.


Finally, I use a wet blending pad, and blend because if you dont it looks fake, and sort of processed. If you want you can also use a powder brush with nothing on it, and rub it around for a final touch.
